As a renter STAY AWAY! This company only looks out for its owners. We rented with them a little over 2 years, it’s obvious they use the cheapest materials possible, if we tried to wipe anything off our walls the paint came right off. Towards the end of our lease our A/C broke and a part was on back order due to Covid. Our home was literally 92 degrees inside for 2 months we called and asked several times for a window unit to cool it down and was told to purchase one ourselves and return it afterwards. They just kept telling us heir hands were tied because the owners didn’t want to help out

DMM has managed our house in Fort Collins for 20+ years and we have always been very happy with services provided. We have had a few tenants over the years, but turnover was pretty infrequent and quick when required. Carol also did a great job ensuring our property was well maintained and providing good counsel on repairs / upkeep. Recently we decided to sell the property to take advantage of the hot market. DMM did an excellent job handling the listing and eventual sale. Sean was extremely helpful getting the property ready for sale and getting a quick sale for top dollar. We could not be happier

I’m sure this property management company is good for the owners of the house but it is absolutely terrible for renters. Moved in without being able to see the inside of the house due to Covid and that was the biggest mistake. The place was filthy, took tons of pictures, smelled like a wet dog, water leaked through all the exterior doors, fridge leaked, sink leaked, toilets would get stuck frequently. Called and told them about the problems and said someone would be out there to fix it. No one ever came to fix any of it even after multiple emails. I ended up fixing the water leaks cause I didn’t

We have worked with Carol and Sean for several years now and cannot say enough good things about them. They have always treated us fairly, have been great to all of our employees, and are just genuinely good human beings. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a company to manage your properties!

Absolutely the worst management company ever rented from! They lie, and keep most of your deposit at time of move out!!! We left it in better shape than when we moved in! They sent us bills of cleaning agency that was designed to take most of deposit!
Do not rent from these people, they are crooks!

I had a terrible experience with Drake Manor and wouldn't recommend them to anyone! Unfortunately when we moved to Fort Collins, we needed a furnished place, so our choices were limited. We were excellent, very clean and responsible tenants, and they deducted $100 from our security deposit claiming that we didn't leave the place clean. We left it MUCH cleaner than when we moved it, that's for damn sure! How this place is in business is truly remarkable to me. Nearly everything they tell you is a complete lie. It started off years ago, with an incompetent woman named Deb in charge. She would over promise and under deliver every time she came to the house. She constantly made excuses about why things would take nearly a year to complete, if they were completed at all.
Years later, the owner of Drake Manor, Carol, came for the visit. She explained that Deb had been let go because she was making promises that she was not delivering on, and tenants were very upset with her. Carol said that this was

Drake Manor is a fair, professional and understanding rental company. We rented with Drake Manor for a year. When others rental agencies were not willing to let a surrogate come to see the house for us, Drake did. When life threw a wrench into our plans, Drake worked with us and the owner. That said, the owner could have been unwilling to work with us and there should be no reason to blame Drake if it did not work out. Totally unprofessional. The way they operate their business is borderline, if not actually, criminal. As a property owner, I was charged several times for work that was never completed. I was never notified of any work being done until my monthly payment came in minus the expenses. After complaining about the lack of communication, they sent their contractor out to do more unnecessary work and billed me at a rate of $40 per hour. Where to start with drake manor. I have lived in fort Collins for a very long time and have rented 10 different places now. Drake manor management is hands down the worst by a long shot. They are lazy, unprofessional, rude and clearly have an agenda to make easy money and screw over whoever they need to en route.
