Embodyment yoga therapy is a hands-on technique that brings a greater sense of awareness and consciousness to your body. As a result of this increased awareness, you will feel more enlivened and areas of your body that were previously tight or "numb" will begin to open up. Some people say they experience a change in their body "equivalent to 3 or 4 Svaroopa yoga classes."
Yoga Therapy is a one on one session designed to meet your body's needs. It unlocks your healing and moves you more quickly toward your goals. Sessions may include yoga breathing, poses with special adjustments to help release deep tension, or Embodyment Therapy; dependent on what your body needs that day.

Services
Janice has helped and continues to help several of our clients with their overall health and wellness. Certain styles of Yoga can be difficult at times for people recovering from injury but Janice's very comfortable and accommodating practice of Svaroopa has helped in restoring joint movement while reducing muscle tension.
Arrival - Classes begin on time. If you are new to the class, please arrive early so I can help you get yourself settled. It's helpful if everyone can arrive at least 5 minutes before class begins. This gives you time to set up your blankets, gather what you need and fully settle into Shavasana. What you need - Svaroopa yoga blankets work best for class, however, many students have taken class using props they have on hand in their homes.
