The knowledgeable staff at Optical Fair is experienced in working with vision insurance providers. We will work directly with you and your vision insurer to submit claims regarding your vision care. We strive to ensure that you understand your insurance coverage and will answer any questions you may have regarding your benefits.
I have been practicing optometry for over 40 years now. I am excited everyday to go to work and see my patients. Optometry allows me to help make their lives better. I practice what I call lifestyle optometry. It is important that I know what your visual needs are. An eyeglass prescription from me is not a bunch of numbers, it is the way to a better life.
Dr. Attman and the Optical Fair team take even routine eye exams very seriously. During a yearly or bi-yearly examination, our Catonsville patients will receive a patient history review, a series of vision and eye tests, assessments of eye focusing and movement, and an eye health evaluation. Our optometrist will discuss any additional testing that may be required to diagnose an eye disease or condition.

I've had to use them to get safety glasses for work for years. In the past things were as they should be (albeit the staff acts like you're inconveniencing THEM for doing business with them) but the glasses would come in a timely manner. Last year I straight up didn't get my glasses because the vendor tried calling ME instead of dealing with Optical Fair, and then this year I tried again this year hoping this was a mulligan, but here we are another year with the same problems. This place is terrible and all other providers my company uses has no issues.

Staff isn’t very friendly at all. I needed my prescription sent to another provider and couldn’t get this done. I called repeatedly and got put on hold or hung up on. They acted like I was annoying them for asking for my prescription. My new provider even called and still couldn’t get it sent and they were rude to her too. The doctor is great, he’s very friendly and professional but his staff is why I will never return. If I treated patients this way at the dental office where I work, I would be fired.

Bought a nice pair of glasses for$500.00 they were what appeared to be messed up and all they would do is use a finger nail file and take off rough edges. That's really poor. Don't think I'll buy my next ones from them. What a shameful way to treat customers. The eye doctor is GREAT but the counter help sucks.

I heard good things about them, unfortunately.. I didn't have a chance to put anything to use because they have a silly policy of not being able to see more than two pair at a time from a wall of HUNDREDS of glasses. Also, you can't actually take a picture of your top choices so how in the world can you recall from HUNDREDS of glasses what you have narrowed it to? Also, the staff aren't very pleasant. If I'm willing and wanting to drop $400+ dollars on Tom Ford glasses, the LEAST you could do is allow me to take a picture of the glasses to think it over for an evening. They

I was shopping around for some new eyewear and decided to try this establishment. I was in the mall having a hard time finding their store so I called them for help. The person who picked up the phone wasn't friendly to me and gave fast directions. Without me being able to ask any further questions the person hung right up on me.
I somehow managed to find the store but wasn't given any assistance. I just wander around and found similar glasses to the ones I wanted but the color nor the overall look pleased me. I decided to leave the store and took my business to Warby Parker...

I've been a patient of Dr.Cohens for over 30years, he is THE BEST!!!
Unfortunately some of the staff are very rude and crude. The manager Daphine, and Shawntae have the tendency of giving information to customers without being accurate. It's my opinion that the staff needs much additional training in customer service! Maybe the young lady Tanisha can facilitate the training. She is the ONLY person with customer service and proper etiquette towards people. She takes her time to give, ask and find all pertinent information that will most benefit you as the patient. I really wish she

Thoroughly surprised by all the positive feedback!
Went in to simply order contacts. First gentleman to help me was clearly the lead Optometrist (David I believe; black, wears glasses) was incredibly unpleasant, unhelpful && condescending... What a disgusting attitiude he had!
Now David could definitely & desperately brush up on his customer service "skills" from co-worker Daphne.
Witnessing David's unjustified, dismissive attitude, she so kindly came over to further assist - Thank Daphne, you're very sweet.

Not only are the receptionists rude to every person who walks through the door, they tend to lose records as well. I've been going there for years and not once have I had a successful visit. For example, I made an appointment and she had informed me that I haven't had an exam since 2013, meaning I needed another one before I ordered contacts. Knowing this wasn't true, I scheduled an exam for the following week anyway. In the meanwhile, I asked the receptionist if she could contact my insurance company to make sure I hadn't had one in 2014 and that I was going crazy or something and she never called

I am a social worker and one of my patients broke her eyeglasses, so I brought them into optical fair to see if they could fix the lenses and tighten the screws. The staff there were more than happy to help and they didn't even charge me for the repair!! I will certainly be recommending this place for eyeglasses and I can't wait to go back there in the future!

I have new insurance coverage now so I am currently in the market to find a new optical center.
I tried here because its close to my home and accepts my new insurance. First walk in looked promising. Glasses everywhere and many pamphlets about the lasted lens technology.
I walked in and was greeted by the receptionist. She was friendly but seemed a little annoyed by my questions about their eyeglass frames. They have big selection of designer frames. That's nice and all but I don't care for designer frames. I like cheap and discounted ones. When I asked her about those she immediately
