I love to play sports, basketball and soccer are my favorite. I get frustrated because I can't hit the rim most of the time - I get lots of 'Air Balls'. Would vision therapy help make me a better athlete? - Learn how we may help. Vision and its development is an incredibly important part of a child's overall development.

Unfortunately, its importance is usually overlooked and sometimes ignored. Learn about what we do with infants. Most studies indicate that between 50% and 90% of computer workers have visual symptoms and problems. Diane practice takes a behavioral approach to vision and vision related problems. Optometric vision therapy is recommended when the visual problem cannot be solved with environmental changes or lenses only. The procedures, which may involve using specialized instruments, are individualized based on the visual skill level of the patient. The vision therapy program begins "where the patient is."
To determine if Optometric vision therapy is appropriate for a patient, an extensive evaluation is performed. Ability to use both eyes together at both distance and near (binocular or eye teaming skills). Further testing to determine ability to improve eye alignment if an eye turn or "lazy eye" exists.
Many patients who undergo Optometric Vision therapy notice that their abilities in sports change for the better. Athletic performance is dependent upon much more than just visual acuity. Natural, raw skills are always a plus but rarely are they ever enough. It is important to be able to track well and consistently when playing a game that has a ball.
You can call them learning lenses or you can call them stress relieving lenses. Others call them reading glasses. The names are different but they all do the same thing. By relieving stress while reading (or while doing other sustained nearpoint tasks) the patient is able to learn better and for longer periods of time.
Most studies indicate that between 50% and 90% of computer workers have visual symptoms and problems. Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) is the complex of eye and vision problems related to near work which are experienced during or related to computer use. In most cases, symptoms occur because the visual demands of the task exceed the visual abilities of the individual to comfortably perform the task.

Do NOT spend $500 to have a glitchy computer analyze your eye movements. The computer results had us freaked out, but another doctor at a very reputable practice completed the SAME functional tests using their own eyes and instruments to find no issues at all. Do not be tricked into believing the only way to complete these tests are by the computer system used by Dr. Diane. Its just not true.
I spent a lot of money on glasses only to find out my son didn't need them. Not only were his eyes fine, but Dr. Diane also recommended thousands of dollars worth of eye therapy. This was our red flag. Dr
