Dr. Blum grew up and went to grade school in Baltimore City. He received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He also studied pediatrics and behavioral vision at the SUNY College of Optometry in New York City.
