We stayed in #27, Fuzzy Bear studio cabin. Just perfect for 2 people. To address a few incorrect statements about this cabin made on other sites, the shower water pressure and hot water were not issues at all, and way more than adequate, especially for Big Bear. The gas fireplace also put out plenty of heat. In fact, we had to turn it down on a night with outside temperatures in the teens. Finally, yes, there is a complete kitchenette with a double sink, full refrigerator, full stove/oven, and a microwave. It is small, but cozy! TV is small, but Wi-Fi and cable worked just fine while we were there

The cabin we had was a 1 bed w pet allowed. It was simple, had everything we needed to make it work. The cabin however had the worst mattress. Neither my kid nor I got sleep. If you spend $200/night I think it be standard to have a bed that can be comfortably slept in. Futon had pee stains and smelled. Like I said it had everything to make it work but with little effort so much more could be possible to make guests want to return.

Took my cousins here for the weekend, and my experience was great here, the cabin was big and had everything we needed also really warm, we did get the cabin vibe witch was cool, the employees and managers were great, & really respectful and outgoing
We didn’t really go to the pool obviously because it was 44 degrees outside but they do have a jacuzzi. Other then that I do recommend this place!

I booked this hotel through hotels.com. It was fully refundable if cancelled. I cancelled this hotel well before the cancellation date and was told by hotels.com I would receive a full refund. The refund was never received so I called the Golden Bear cottages and spoke to Lisa she said they do not honor hotels.com cancellation policy. She said she is aware of hotels.com refund policy but her policy is no refunds. She said it is my responsibility to call any hotel I book and ask them their refund policy even if hotels.com says it's fully refundable. I understand she needs to use hotels.com to get

The first night was beyond horrible. Extremely loud rap music and drunk people in the cabin next to us partying till after 10pm then back at it at 8am. Beware of hidden cleaning fees tacked onto your hotel price after you book. Our room went from $126 a night to $146 after booking!!! Triple check your reservation details too!!!! The room description on cheap tickets was inaccurate and NOT the booked room. The owner wanted to charge another $20 a night for a jetted tub that was in the description on cheap tickets but NOT the actual booked room. She finally did waive that fee for us. Also Cheap tickets
