I am a US Army veteran with a background in construction engineering. After leaving the service, I worked for a drilling and construction company, which did pier supports for foundations. I then transitioned into real estate appraisal for the States of Ohio and Indiana. While working as a real estate appraiser, I owned and operated a residential rehab company.
A home inspection is a chance for the opinion of an outside, unbiased professional to provide insight on the condition of the home. Is the house safe? Is it showing signs of water intrusion? Are the electric box and outlets wired correctly? Is the roofing material correctly installed? Is there unseen foundation damage?
He was very knowledgeable and further explained things we did not understand as first time home buyers. He even gave us tips on how to handle certain problem areas in the home. He was prompt and sent us a very thorough inspection report within hours of the home inspection. I highly recommend him! Joe was very professional on the phone setting up an appointment, in person and with the layout and detail of the report itself!

Joe was responsive and professional when I asked about him completing an inspection for a home I was purchasing. He took about three hours to complete a very thorough inspection, and charged a flat, more than reasonable rate. He was awesome the entire time, letting three other people come with us for the inspection, and even letting my fiancé and his dad check out the roof with him. He is personable and friendly throughout the entire process as well. I received my inspection report early the next day, and it was very detailed. His web presence may not be the flashiest of all the inspection options

After getting a poor quality insulation job, Joe came out to confirm what that business did, or did not do. After sending that company Joe's report and photos, they came back out and completely redid the job. Joe came back a second time to confirm their work. This time the job was completed the way it was supposed to be done. Without Joe's expertise and knowledge of the construction industry, and armed with his report, I might as well as thrown my money in the garbage can. Great job by Joe. Even though I did not use him for a whole home inspection, I am sure the same type quality would be used

Not only did Joe provide a very thorough and timely inspection, he took the time to explain things that as a first time home buyer really made me feel at ease. He pointed out where the water valve, gas shut off, and electrical box were and even small things such as the light switch for the dishwasher. He reminded me to keep an eye on the foam covering around the pipes from the AC unit. He arrived on time, and provided a detailed (35-40 pages, complete with high quality images and detailed descriptions of issues) report within a couple hours of the actual home inspection. Joe was friendly and professional
