I suspected the insulation in my home was not done properly. In the winter it was drafty, cold and the heat seemed to run all the time. A friend said I should contact these guys and they might be able to help. They did! They did a heat loss thermal report on my house and found so many places where insulation was missing or improperly done.

Mike is a true professional. As a first-time homebuyer, Mike was great in helping me understand the fine details and high-level picture of the home I was buying. He never came off as impatient, and took the time to answer questions that I thought might possibly come off as common sense or stupid. Compared to other home inspectors, his rates are very reasonable, and he was very responsive over text and email. I definitely hope to use him again in the future.

Did research on home what home inspections cost/entail and Assurance did a wonderful job for me when I put an offer on my home and needed this to be done. Seems like the one bad review I saw was someone misleading and the potential home buyer didn't seem to be knowledgeable so I took a chance. I don't regret it because Michael did a fantastic job and was very helpful in answering questions. Explained what to expect when it came to condition of various things too. Compared to other home inspections the cost they charged me was reasonable and fair. Did not feel "ripped off" at

My husband and I recently worked with Michael in Grafton, MA and he was fantastic! He made a somewhat stressful inspection process smooth and understandable. He had great insight and advice for my husband and I. He was careful, knowledgeable and funny (which helped ease our stress). We would highly recommend Michael for any home inspection!

Michael has done a great job for a number of our buyers - purchasing everything from small condos, to single family and multis. Mike takes his time to explain not only the overall process, but the details of anything that he finds amiss. Takes his time with buyers to ensure they understand the 'systems' in the home, how to use them, etc. Great resource, even after the fact.

I feel that I have been ripped off by this company. We were in the process of buying a house and hired Assurance as our home inspector. They missed so many things that a pro would not have missed. We tried contacting them to see if they would help us with the repairs since it was negligence on their part that didn't warn us of all the damages to the house we were trying to buy. They pretty much told us to kick rocks because of their "disclaimer" in their contract. That is shady business practice if you ask anybody who lives honest lives.

Michael, our home inspector, was great. He was extremely thorough and educational. He pointed out all of the good and not so good things about our potential property. He offered advice on how to fix the not so good. He checked every single structure, wall, window, door, outlet, appliance, and fixture. He offered advice on how to properly maintain the home in the future years to get the best life out of things such as the siding, the roof, and the deck.
I would absolutely use Assurance Home Inspection for any future needs and would recommend them to anyone in need of their services.
