Located at the North end of the Napa Valley, where the valley floor meets the edge of the Mayacamas Mountains. The quaint town of Calistoga is nearby, framed by the rugged Palisades and capped by Mount St. Helena.

Services
At Bennett Lane, we are blessed with a Napa Valley location that yields the finest quality grapes. In the cellar we make every effort to highlight this quality and bring it to fruition in the bottle. We are committed to minimal intervention and gentle handling, from the harvest to bottling. In this way, our wines can best express the essence of their terroir, or origin.
Move over Lucy and Ethel! Yesterday, "Everyday Food" co-host Sandy Gluck and I took a shot at blending our own wine at Calistoga's Bennett Lane Winery. Under the guidance ofStefanie Longton, retail sales and wine club manager, we were able to create, bottle and cork our own special blends of wine. Preheat oven to 415 degrees. Season both side of steaks with salt & pepper. Add 2 T of butter to an oven safe skillet (Cast Iron). Heat skillet and place steaks face down and don't disturb, leave for 2 minutes. Flip and repeat for 2 minutes. Place skillet in oven and let cook: 6-7 minutes for medium rare, 8-9 minutes for medium, 10-11 minutes for well done.

The absolute best experience, and great wines! Bill helped me navigate their selection, and he was so incredibly helpful not just in their portfolio of wines, but also went above and beyond and helped me map out other local wineries and restaurants to try in Napa, Mendocino coast, etc. He is so knowledgable and helped me pick the wines that fit within my preferences.

The place was good but comparing it to other places it could be better. The wine is good for tasting with food, pretty good for a blend and excellent for the price but is not the finest wine.
Other wineries focused on talking about their soil (terroir), their history and the quality of the harvest and they abstained from describing the wine. During our trip, this was a bit smaller (in terms of seating areas) of a winery than the others we visited, but super cute vibes and absolutely phenomenal service by Travis. Tasting was $23-46 depending on how many wines. Looking around at the other tables, I think you can bring in outside food and just do your own picnic. Would come back next time we are in the area and highly recommend. Great service, ambiance, wine, and value.

I’ve been visiting the winery since 2003. Even when my wife and I lived in France, we perfected checking cases as luggage for 2 years. Stefanie has been there from the start. You can never go wrong with a Bennett Lane wine. The Lynch’s are wonderful people and their family run winery is one of the best in the valley.

Such an awesome experience in Calistoga! We decided to visit this small winery randomly and it was such a nice surprise! Our host Bill was truly a great person, he took the time to sit down with us and explain the wines, made us feel at home, and the wines which btw were delicious (this is after we did the major high end tastings like Joseph Phelps etc). Ended up having a beautiful afternoon and going home with great wine! Highly recommend on your Napa trip!

Beautiful facility. Their 2014 Ruby Fox shipped with white cotton gloves, and an Opinel corkscrew knife with a Ruby Fox logo on it, and they offered free shipping on the bottle. The service was great when I stopped by for a unscheduled tasting, which I was not charged for. The wine, though, was less than exceptional for a ~$300 bottle.

My wife and I swung into Calistoga on a whim after finding an open same-day tasting here online. Travis and Domenico were both very friendly as hosts and we enjoyed our experience here very much. They accommodated for the heat (our car temp said 106 when we pulled into the lot) by moving tables and chairs from their courtyard into one of their adjacent wine barrel storage rooms. The wine is very good, and we quite enjoyed their 2014 Cabernet.

We booked the Ruby Fox tasting because it was advertised as their most exclusive, including an "educational wine tour of the grounds". While the wine and host were nice, there was no tour and nothing besides a typical wine tasting. We paid $280 for a party of 3 because it was a special occasion.
Beautiful location but given that your experience will be a wine tasting and nothing but, there is no reason to book anything other than a basic tasting.

We joined the Bennet Lane wine club in September of 2020, and have visited 3x since (it would be more if I didn't live out of town). I can't say enough good things about this place, from the wine -- particularly for those who love full bodied reds -- to the people, who are some of the friendliest and most knowledgeable you'll find in Napa. It was a beautiful day to drive to Bodega Bay, then on to this beautiful winery. They found us a sunny table on the patio and my friend used to be a club member and is now again as everything was delicious and the pourer was great fun. Jordan made the afternoon very fun! Exceptional afternoon. Don't forget to ask about the special "Fox" wine!

Spent a few hours at this winery and glad we did! We enjoyed the wines very much, the setting was comfortable and laid back, and our pourer Dominico was knowledgeable, friendly, and had us tasting some fantastic wines.
We ended up as club members and took 3 bottles home with us as well! I did notice when I got home that I ended up with a Chardonnay rather than the Rose that I asked for, but that was most likely due to not being heard through my mask.
We also came back the following day with some sandwiches, bought another bottle, and enjoyed a quick afternoon picnic. Can't wait to return

In spite of recent world events, our visit to Bennett Lane winery was exceptional in service and safety!! The wines here are all around spectacular but the service is friendly and knowledgeable! Jordan was especially great! The weather was perfect for outdoor tasting by reservation and the ambiance was relaxed and fun! Always a great stop!

Our bed and breakfast referred us here and so the winery gave us a free upgrade to their VIP tasting. Their regular tasting is $20 a person, and the VIP private seated tasting is $30 a person. The host walked us through each wine and their history. We were a fan of most of the wines and ultimately purchased their 2012 Maximus wine.

But they accommodated our walk-in and let us have a tasting since they were not TOO busy. We stumbled upon it and tried some interesting wines. The ambience was nice and refreshing. We had a few different hosts during our visit, but ended with Karen who was most gracious and welcoming.
For a Saturday on a holiday weekend, this place was a refreshing spot after visiting overly crowded wineries nearby.
But they accommodated our walk-in and let us have a tasting since they were not TOO busy. We stumbled upon it and tried some interesting wines. The ambience was nice and refreshing. We had a few different hosts during our visit, but ended with Karen who was most gracious and welcoming.

Many reasons to love this place but primarily because I spent the best day of my life here - my boyfriend (now fiancé) proposed to me at the Bennett Lane Winery! Can't begin telling you how smooth was the whole execution - per my fiancé. Donna was wonderful and helped my fiancé navigate throughout the process of setting up for the proposal(he told me after the fact of). They also provided for a photographer as a part of the package. This is a small, local winery that is dog friendly and has good selection of wines. There is seating inside and outside the tasting room, and guests are invited to bring snacks (even a picnic during the summers). There is no food on site. Francesca is pretty awesome, knowledgeable and very friendly.

Another great tasting room visit. Donna was superb as always.
We started with the Maximus, which is phenomenal and went through the list. Malbec is very tasty with hints of cherry, the 2013 cabernet has a dark cherry and dusty finish, the 2009 cabernet has bing cherry, cocoa and a sturdy and elegant finish. These wines will compliment any meal.
