I loved living in this apartment complex for a year. The management and maintenance team are excellent, can’t have any complains. The apartment complex is very nicely located with biking and running trails around, and it is super green outside. The bus stop is also just a minute away from your apartment. The management even calls at the end of the week to make sure that your maintenance request was taken care of. I highly recommend this apartment in Davis.

Had an upstairs apartment and it was nice enough (dated appliances and fixtures but gas stove, skylight, etc). Quiet little complex right next to a park. Not walking distance to downtown Davis but walking distance to a small strip mall with a market and some restaurants. Two stars for the very high security deposit and just general high cost for what you get.
The ‘refurbishing charges exceeding normal wear and tear’ were over half our security deposit. We cleaned literally everything in the apartment and they charged us ~$180 for cleaning. There were nail holes in the walls when we moved in

I deeply regret living here. The walls are ridiculously thin, it's always dark in the living room because of how the complex is laid out with trees outside the windows, and I can hear EVERY footstep the people upstairs make. I just hear this incessant squeaking every day which is super embarrassing if you have guests over, and really annoying if you're just trying to relax. When I tried to complain, they just told me that's what happens when you live in an apartment and that the people above me are just heavy. Not to mention how far this place is from campus, downtown, and anything remotely interesting

I couldn't be happier to live in this beautiful complex. The management team is excellent and expresses every property event, contest, construction or property work consistently.
Last month we had a giant Pine tree fall on the property due to the amount of massive rain we have been having. The management team worked as hard as they could and I couldn't have asked for a faster solution. They had the tree removal company out there within the next day to start trimming away the small stuff and the big stuff was hauled away within in three days of the incident. I was very impressed as I have lived

Super chill property managers, nice complex, pretty much everything about this place is great. Notable drawbacks: It's not within walking distance to anything interesting besides Westlake and Village Homes. Get a car if you want to live here, or get used to taking buses everywhere (or biking a lot).

The only apartment I have seen in Davis with a real high SECURITY DEPOSIT ($ 500). Worse thing is you just dont get back anything, no matter how u clean ur apt. I have been in US for 6 yrs, and never had this worse experience. They just dont have any respect towards resident's money.
Please be aware you dont get your $ 500 back.So, dont waste ut time and energy in cleaning the apt. I would say, give it as worse as possible.. Common guys, why I am writing this?
