This place is terrible. I've had problems living here since day 1. I was being charged $300 electric bills, from a 3 bedroom townhome that was not mine and they refused to contact TECO, claiming I was just using too much electric for my one bedroom apt The office staff is rude and unprofessional. They literally do not care about resident satisfaction or have an ounce of customer service skills. You will rarely get a call back, you have to go into the office. Management has changed 3 times since I've moved in, once changing companies altogether and it is just as terrible. I've resorted

I saw the sign for this apartment complex from the street and when I came in I was welcomed by Kayla in the leasing office.
Kayla was extremely courteous and knowledgeable about the area and the benefits of living at Cortona.
Kayla took the time to explain every detail and benefits of living here. From the access to the nearby area, the gym, the complimentary coffee every morning, the pool and Security.
Kayla was very thorough about the application process.
I am confident that Kayla is more than just an employee of Cortona, Kayla is part of the team that leads to the success of this company

Call in and got quotes 1340-1560 for a one bed room. I ask to apply to get the two open one bedrooms and get called the next day with 1986 quote for the exact same one bed room.
They need to figure out their pricing system. I understand people make mistakes but 600 dollar mistakes all the time doesn't make sense.
The place is nice as my fiancé lives here.
But as far as cons go.......
- horrible new management
- inconsistent pricing and management doesn't care
- packages?? Say bye bye to them.

Cortona is a beautiful, calm, and amazing place. Especially during these hard times, both the management and maintenance team have done an amazing job. I want to give a shoutout to Kayla because she has truly been an amazing leasing consultant even though she just began. She shows compassion and has excellent customer service skills as well.

There is nothing good to say about this place except for my lease will be up soon. The garages in the townhomes are small as well as the parking spaces for the townhomes. If you are a two-car family and your neighbor has two cars parking is it really cramped to park. They have additional parking but if you park there even though you're a resident they will tow your car. Anything they can find to make living here more miserable they will go out of their way to do. The maintenance staff is great too bad the rest of the staff isn't. Also the interior is not very well built. Don't let

Do not plan on visiting guests here as there is no place to park. Was there less than an hour to help a resident unload a vehicle and was towed at 1245 am. No phone number to call or web portal to get a temporary parking pass. Office is unwilling to work with us to resolve the issue and do not understand the situation. Security will tow a vehicle full of household items but will not respond to complaints with regard to noise and unruly neighbors. Inconsistency at its finest.

Terrible complex. Nowhere to park, our unit had a huge roach problem and took them months to fix and it's still not fixed 100%. Amenities and pool are all shut down. Leasing office and staff are slow to get back to you and ultimately don't care. If you're reading this, take my advice and sign somewhere else

So happy that I chose Cortona as my residence. I've been living here almost a year and could not be happier. Thank you to the office associates in particular to Maritza who made sure everything was taken care of and in a timely manner during the move in process. Even now between the office associates and maintenance crew the response time for any issues is minimal. If I had to say any con to living here it's the parking. When planning this community there was an epic fail for making sure there was ample parking. But I do appreciate living in a community that I feel safe and has dependable

I am one of the first residents to move to Cortona back in July of 2019! If you are looking for a place in South Tampa, DO NOT sign a lease to live here. While the property is beautiful on the outside, it is riddled with so many issues and it is honestly so poorly managed.
We have had Wifi issues in our apartment (it is part of your rent and you can't change or upgrade) for the last 4 months. A 5 star rating well over due. From the moment I walked into Cortona, I loved it. From the BEAUTIFUL office decor, to the property itself - just, wow. Maritza and Josh in the leasing office are so helpful and eager to help. Management is quick to fix any issues, and address any concerns.
They make my pup and I feel so welcome. One of the best places to live in South Tampa, by far. 12/10 would recommend.

PROS: The property management is awesome and extremely attentive, which is absolutely fantastic. Aesthetically, a Tampa apartment complex doesn't get much better. The pool area is a great spot to hang out in the sun. The clubhouse has everything you need. Very happy with the situation.

Edgar and his team are super responsive to our needs here at Cortona. We can see how much he cares for us and the other residents here by his responsiveness and extra-mile service he provides. He and his team have helped us many times from helping us find our lost pet to making sure we all had enough to eat at the community event. We have always experienced fast and thorough service when we request maintenance and filter changes. Edgar and his efficient team really shine and take care of us with speed and professionalism.

Very poor insulation between floors! We hear LITERALLY everything from people above us! We tried telling the office about it but they ignored it. We sent a message to the people above us but nothing changed! We literally wake up every morning at 7:00 and sometimes we can't go to bed until 2am!! They are very noisy people and i'm really tired of living here.

Cortona is a conveniently located new apartment complex in South Tampa. I like my apartment's floor plan especially the storage space. Josh, a leasing specialist, is a pleasure to work with as he genuinely cares about the people who live here. Debbie, the community manager, is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. In addition, there are nice amenities with the pool, gym, dog park, walking trail and clubhouse. Edgar and Eli also respond to maintenance requests quickly. I certainly enjoy living here!

This is a brand new living community. Some of the amenities have been postponed, but as a resident I feel the communication from office employees has always been on top of it. With a brand new community opening, it's quite apparent that they would have a lot on their plates and with that being the case, our work orders and concerns have always seemed to be of the utmost importance to the staff. Happy to live in such a beautiful community where I as a resident feel valued. Also, we love Josh!

STAY AWAY!!!! Awful place to live. Leasing staff is extremely rude and makes false statements to residents alleging that they are communicating with them about work orders when they aren't. I have been here for 2 weeks and my dishwasher still doesn't work. My cabinets are still filthy dirty and no one at the office knows how to communicate with one another like grown adults. Amber is an awful person don't talk to her. STAY AWAY!
