We listed our flat in the Richmond District with Taylor from Rentals in SF late November 2021'. After a two year remodel, a friend recommended this agency. They were very professional and came out to video the flat and gathered all the information needed for the listing. During a very difficult time for both property owners as well as perspective clients, they were able to get my property leased within two months. Taylor was very efficient and professional. I will be recommending his service and the agency to all of my friends and relatives.

I viewed 2 apartments that were listed by Rentals In SF, The first property was shown by someone who was filling in. She was on time, but did not know anything about the unit, she was only able to open the apartment unit and door. The unit had various issues that we were concerned about.

Second unit we viewed was a long drawn out process to get an appointment, I had to follow up with the agent 3 times only to discover this was more of an open house situation not a private viewing. The unit smelled moldy, had clear signs of extensive water damage and drywall rot. 2nd unit in the same building also

Loved working with Jackie! She was very responsive and easy to work with and really appreciated her flexibility. Rentals in SF has some really great listings and the site was completely up to date which made it super easy for my apartment search.

We had to follow up 3 times to hear back if our application was accepted or not. We ended up getting a response a week later saying that someone had offered to pay more rent, which I don't even know how they would go about that as there is no space for that on the application and it is so hard to get in contact with them.

Found a property on Craigslist that was being managed by Rentals in SF. Easy to arrange showing and had staff member there to show the apartment. Took less than 24 hours to go from seeing property to signing papers!

No one showed up for my showing,ignored my texts and calls and later in the day finally returned to me giving me some lame excuses and apologies. Also said that there was a new place that just opened up and she would get back to me so I could be the first one to check it out. It's been a month and I haven't heard from her

Message to Landlords thinking about using this agency:

As a prospective tenant I saw an apartment with Rentals in SF in January 2021. They were by far the most disorganized rental agency I've dealt with. My first cancelling on Monday was cancelled and not rescheduled for another week (Shame because I really liked the apartment and wanted to rent it right away). Furthermore, I could not get any leasing agent on the phone and they often took a few days to respond to emails.

Scheduled to view an apartment that was listed as a 1BR/2BA at 5pm on a Tuesday.

The YouTube video tour indicated that the place was only a 1BR/1BA but I was willing (at that point) to overlook the incorrect information on the listing.

I left work early, spent 30 minutes getting to the unit, and showed up at 5pm on Tuesday. I texted the agent (Liz) that I'd arrived and she responded that our appointment was for Wednesday. I forwarded her the email again where she specifically said Tuesday at 5pm.

She acknowledged that she made a mistake and gave me my options: wait 2 hours for her colleague

I found a beautiful one-bed on craigslist that Jackie Tom had listed. We went back and forth quickly over email. We made a next day appointment and by the end of that day I had locked down the place. The pace of working together was fantastic and it was extremely easy to get the deal done. Since signing the deal all of the next steps have been met with speedy and renter friendly responses. I would recommend Jackie to anyone who wants a great and fast experience.

Terrible experience with this company as whole, but mostly emailed with Jennifer Risano, who was absolutely terrible as far as helping/working at all.

I've read some of the previous reviews, and the owner always is prompt in responding to the negative ones, and trying to shift blame to the reviewer, but after so many negative reviews, Im concerned about why they never realize they are the actual problems?

I saw an apartment on CL that I loved and really wanted to see and check out in person. I emailed Jennifer, and never got a response back. I emailed a few more times, no response, then

I had a viewing with Jennifer Rissano. I had high hopes for the unit and working with them to find my next home. However, her lack of customer service was appalling. You would think she would at least be kind enough to introduce herself, tell me about the unit in a manner that wasn’t so dry and unenthusiastic. She might have been having a bad morning? Maybe she wasn’t happy that it was Sunday and she was working? Maybe it was the rain? Who knows. But I sure didn’t deserve that lack of customer service. She did the bare minimum.

I have been using Jackie Tom and Sheri Castilyn from Rentals In SF for decades. It's long past time for me to post a review. This company is totally professional, and Sheri and Jackie have bent over backwards many times to assist me with rentals. They are highly skilled, really good communicators, they have always given me good advice, and they deal with everyone with integrity and diligence. Since I began using their services many years ago I have never used anyone else.

Taylor was very helpful in finding us good renters. Both he and Jackie have always been very responsive with communications which has not been the case with some of the other agencies that we have used in the past. I highly recommend Rentals in SF.

Rentals in SF – and specifically Sheri Castilyn – provided a seamless property management experience from move in to move out, and everything in between. Sheri was quick to respond, honest, and helpful in case of any maintenance or other issue in our Russian Hill apartment. When moving out, Sheri provided exact tips to get the most of our security deposit back, even as far as sending links for free bulky item pickup and being flexible with dates for our final inspection.
