In 2012, I came across a yoga studio near my home in India and decided to try a class out as at that time I had gained a little weight and wanted to shed those extra kilos. Initially I was attracted to the physical benefits of the practice as it made me more flexible and also helped me lose weight but slowly I started to feel the difference in my mental state as well.

It made me calmer and my mind quieter. I also felt more energized and happy. I also started to feel strong benefits of the very first inversion that I learnt there (ladies inversions are a boon for our bodies which can give tremendous benefits specially as they can help balance our hormones). It was a big eye opener to me as to the kind of impact Yoga had on my body.

I have been taking private pre-natal yoga sessions with Payal for the last 6 weeks now. I was skeptical of zoom yoga in general, but given COVID-19 that felt like the safest thing to do and Payal has made it better than anything I'd have expected!

She is very knowledgeable about pre-natal poses and supports. Moreover, she is very particular about safety, but still finds innovative ways to stretch & tone the right muscles while ensuring that the abs are not engaged. She notices every detail on zoom and suggests adjustments that are easy to understand and immediately useful for posture

Payal is the best yoga instructor I have ever had! Her balance of strength and flexibility, relaxation and challenge, and adaptability to those who join her classes are incredible. What I love most about Payal is her manner of explanation -- to help you understand your body and how to to build good foundations to your practice while ensuring that you know how to protect yourself from injury. I wait the whole week for her class and am so glad to know her! I highly recommend you join one of Payal's yoga classes!

Payal is an amazing instructor! My husband Chris and I really enjoyed her classes at Ascend Muay Thai and Fitness. She talks you through every move, and helps take your yoga experience to a whole new level! She helps you adjust your movements individually to get the maximum benefit out of each and every pose! I absolutely love her class and would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for group instruction or private classes!!!

Payal is an awesome yoga instructor, she is patient, energize and passionate. I have been practicing yoga in her class and did learn a lot, especially fixed my knee problem through this practice. She is nicely asking if you have any questions after each class and gently adjust any incorrect pose. I love her sound voice of soft tone that really also release whole body with the poses. Highly recommend.

Payal is an excellent yoga instructor. She gives us a complete body workout including mind and body. It includes whole body stretching, balancing and muscle toning. I have enjoyed her class a lot. The level is appropriate as she adjusts accordingly.

Payal is a terrific yoga instructor. I have been taking her class for almost a year. Within this short amount of time, I feel I have gained a greater understanding of technique, built on my strength and agility, and learned to focus on my breathing (which I have even found useful during work when stressed). In Payal's classes, you are able to build on your own yoga practice safely, start a brand new yoga practice that you can take home with you, and walk away always feeling rejuvenated with a greater love for what your body allows you to do. Her practice is beautiful from beginning to end.
