The decided to change how you can pay your rent without proper notice. I have lived here 2 years never had any issues with paying rent until today. The 2 unprofessional ladies that work the desk who have attitude were less then accomidating. They never sent any documentation stating that this "corporate" change was taking place. Then I went and got a money order and they still would not take it. They now officially lost a great teant. I have never been late once on my rent. The way I was treated was as if I was beneath them. I'm disgusted at there lack of customer service they should

Apartments are in a good and safe area however there is always noise and ruckus going on! ALWAYS! Whether it be the garbage truck which feels like it comes constantly or leave blowing (which it's Vegas there are no trees) or even the street sweeping truck. The noise is constant and it never ends. Every day there is some sort of maintenance going on. Do NOT recommend if you have babies or small children that nap!

I moved in 4 months ago and really love living here.
The office staff have always been pleasant and responsive to my requests. Maintenance staff are also pleasant and repairs have been done quickly.
The property is well maintained. Some reviewers have posted photos of cabinet doors that don't line up exactly or wood trim that is not perfect. If you are looking for perfection in this world you will never be happy. My apartment is the best maintained apartment I have ever lived in.
Parking is open with 1 covered parking per apartment. Never had trouble finding a place to park. Overall,

I have lived here for 4 years, just signed another lease for 15 more months. The staff, Robin, Joe, Lois and David are always friendly and accommodating. Although I have not called maintenance often, when I have Chris, Lester and Roderick have shown up right away and have handle whatever issue I had with the upmost professionalism and courteous… manner.

WARNING! Do not rent here! For how expensive this place is there shouldn't be these kinds of issues. Scorpion INFESTATION! this place is crawling with scorpions. no matter what they do to "get rid of them" I… find them in my apartment ALL THE TIME!! I was even stung by one that was in my washing machine! The AC unit is incredibly loud! you can hardly hear anything when the AC is on. No lights in the bedroom so you must use a lamp. I do not recommend!

I have lived here for a little over two years (since March 2017) and have absolutely loved it. I have known Robin, the property manager in the front office, has helped me on numerous occasions and truly made living here amazing! is The units are very spacious and the staff is extremely accommodating. Very few things ever needed fixing but when they did, which is pretty normal over a two year span, it never took more than a day to get someone out and have the problem fixed. As for the 1 star reviews, all I can say is that you get what you give. From my experience, this property

Do you enjoy taking 3 hours to dry your clothes in a dryer, then this place is for you. Our dryer would take 3 hrs to dry a load. For over 5 years we complained to management about the dryer, but they would not replace. Since it would get "warm" they didn't consider it an issue.
The place use to have grass every where the kids played and dogs walked, but management removed almost all grass except 3 small areas. So now dogs would only go to the bathroom in the 3 small areas, unless you like watching your dog in pain attempting to walk on rocks to go to the bathroom. So don&apos

My family and I moved to Vegas from Hawaii in 2016. We lived at The Fairways at Southern Highlands for 18 months and had no problem at all. I read reviews about the apartments being infested with scorpions which made me very nervous in the beginning to live here. Honestly, within those 18 mos. we've only came across 2 baby scorpions and it was only because we forgot to call the office to get the apartment sprayed. They do hire pest control guys to spray your apartment every other Thursday at no cost...you just have to remember to call the office or request it on your portal. Also, if I had

My fiance and I signed for a 9 month lease, at $1300 a month PLUS utilities for a 2bd/2bth. ( We didn't have time to look anywhere else unfortunately ) When we moved in there was a few issues, extremely loud and obviously defective garbage disposal, which the brilliant staff said theirs did the same thing and it was normal, the extremely loud air conditioning unit was also something their apartment did. Dont move here these apartments are infested with scorpions !!!If you like scorpions and bugs just move here. I find scorpions in my apartment every week sometimes twice or three times a week. I used to call the office in the beginning to come and kill it but now i hot used to them since i find them almost every other day. Talked to office they send pets control on Thursday but the next day i find another one. It doesnt make sense pets control spray your apartment next day u find scorpion or other bugs alive????!!!!!!

Went to visit a friend and fell in LOVE with her tub!!!! Big/Wide and deep! Quiet environment and beautiful apt. High Ceilings and so much deco potential! A bit pricey for my budget, however, this type of place looks worth saving for. Read some reviews about poor business practice which tosses up red flags. However aesthetically it appears to be worthy of a 2nd look and potential application. Who knows...

Before I moved here the staff and I agreed upon a unit "with a city view". Right before my move in date they tell me the unit was rented out and they had another with a city view. It was not. I was already upset they didn't notify me about my unit being rented after I put a deposit down.
The day I moved in I couldn't shower for 2 days because the water heater was broken.
my A/C went out and they didn't fix it for 4 days. In Nevada that is illegal. I complained and asked for at least a rent credit for the 4 days and they didn't honor it or bother to say anything

I have lived at The Fairways for 2 years and enjoy it here considerably.
This is a very nice area and Southern Highlands is an outstanding place to live.
Scorpions appear a few times a year during mating season I guess. Scorpions have been around for millions of years and since I live in the desert I do not make a big deal about them.
I have reported 3 that slipped through the cracks and on a monthly basis I ask them to come in and spray the inside perimeter with a pet safe deterrent. The office also has pest control crews who come in and spray for them outside.
Whenever I have maintenance issues

We've been living here for about two months now and so far so good! We had a few minor repairs and whatnot that was needed when we first moved in but maintenance was quick to help with no problem at all. The workers are super nice and the neighbors I've met so far and great!
I don't know if it's where I am or if it's everywhere here but there's always parking. My old apartment, the parking spots for everyone were a bit of a walk from most apartments but here, there's always open spots that seem to be convenient for everyone.

1 star is being courteous and solely goes to renee. I have had scorpions in my apartment since day 1. This is a problem that will not seemed to be fixed. I went to the office thinking they would resolve the problem and their advice and their solution was USE A BROOM, GET A CAT, and I DONT KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU. Are you kidding me? They won't even send maintenance because it's too dangerous for them. Everyone in my building has them and my neighbor has been stung.
