Vista Germantown

So far we have been extremely happy with our decision to move into this community. The staff are wonderful, and the abundace of amenities are very nice. Like on site dry cleaning pick up. And the community is 100% dog friendly. Even has a rooftop dog park.

Pros:
- Austin, John & Terry. They are so so nice and really do a great job of keeping this place running!
- The unit features, like 16 foot ceilings and concrete floors
- Location to First Horizon and good food like Sonnys, Steam Boys, Jack Browns etc.
- Community is kept really clean
- Neighbors are super nice! Making friends is easy here

Cons:
- Poor Quality Control. We had no hot water upon move-in. Who turns over a new water heater without testing it!? Took 2 days to fix. Then after a month it started to give out - turns out the thermostat was installed incorrectly. We also had AC

Absolutely love living here. We moved to Nashville from out of state and went in totally blind, and one of the main reasons we went with Vista was because of how great it was to work with Karlee and the whole management team. As we suspected, we love everyone that works at Vista. It really feels like a community, and they host regular events so it's easy to make friends with our neighbors. The location is also unbeatable. Highly recommend!

One of the best experiences I've had with touring and leasing an apartment. The team is absolutely wonderful, a special shoutout to Karlee, who truly went out of her way to take photos and videos of the place after touring the place. She was very communicative throughout the whole process and answered all of the questions I had, which was very helpful. The apartments are very spacious, have an open floor plan, and beautiful amenities, and as a bonus, they have a great special going on. I know they are renovating the amenities and rooms and I can't wait to see them once they are finished!

The location is great, but the leasing office staff are so unresponsive and unprofessional. They don't answer the phones when you call and they take weeks to respond to emails, if they even respond at all. Poor management makes it difficult to want to live here.

I lived in Vista for 2 years and absolutely loved it, even referred a couple of residents to the complex. Until today, when I received a call over a year later, regarding an unpaid amount from my deposit, I had nothing but positive things to say about Vista. It is unfortunate to receive such poor customer relations a year later. The disorganized office is insanity, I will not be referring this complex any longer, ver unfortunate.

My husband, myself and our doggos LOVE Vista !!! The location cannot be beat and we literally have the most amazing apartment we could have asked for when we made the move to Nashville a year ago. I have lived here for almost 5 years. The office staff is always going above and beyond in helping me with anything that I need, and always with a smile. The community events here are great and I can tell that the staff puts a lot of effort into them.
I think that anyone looking to relocate to Germantown or the downtown area should consider Vista Germantown. Thank you all!

We have lived at Vista for almost a year now. We absolutely love living here! Management is the best. They are very available and responsive. The community feel amongst the residents is special, and there are frequent social activities for everyone. Vista is also very pet friendly with special events planned for our dogs. We love the Vista Vibe!

DO NOT move into this apartment complex. Ignore how cute it is and the location. The staff and maintenance are extremely slow and do not pay attention. I have a few examples.... 1) I have 14 foot high ceilings here and my fire alarm started beeping on a Friday night. I was not able to get someone to come until Monday morning because it was not an "emergency" 2) my faucet for my bathtub broke on a Wednesday night at 830 PM and the emergency maintenance line did not respond until the next morning this obviously highly impacted my water bill that month. 3)the fire alarm goes off at least

I just moved here from Vegas and honestly have never rented an apartment since I was in college. Brian from the office worked with my tight move in schedule and luckily, I was able to score a 2nd floor apartment that faces 5th and Madison. Austin the maintenance guy and Kenny are EXCELLENT additions to the complex. Everyone is super dog friendly and my little guy loves it here. I love that I can walk to the Farmers Market and run in the bicentennial park - which is literally my backyard.

If you're a foodie like me - prepare to gain at least 15 pounds living here. I am addicted to the crepes

The best decision I ever made when I relocated to Nashville was choosing Vista! It is the absolute perfect location; a $5 Uber to almost anywhere while maintaining a quaint dog-friendly atmosphere surrounded by unique shops and eateries. I love it here and don't plan on leaving!

Location CAN'T be beat! So many great bars and restaurants in the area.

The staff is amazing, the price is in line with the neighborhood. The pool is always fun in the summer (but not too crazy).

Also VERY dog friendly! The roof deck dog park is a great amenity!

I have lived at Vista for over 4 years and it is THE BEST place to live!!! Not only have I made the best friends in my building but the management is wonderful. If you're looking for an amazing place to live near downtown in an awesome neighborhood, I highly recommend!! :)

One of the best apartments in Nashville! Great amenities including a fun pool area, cozy fire pit, and a fantastic fitness room. The staff stays engaged in the neighborhood and hosts many fun social events. Short walk from Bicentenial Park and plenty of Germantown shops and resturants.

Vista Germantown is by far the best apartment I have ever lived in. The management is amazing-they make sure that any issues are taken care of immediately, they host fun events each month, and they know most residents by name! The building is always kept very clean. The pool, grill area, parking garage, fitness center, and pet lounge are just a few perks that Vista provides. I would recommend this apartment to everyone!

I love these apartments! I've lived in a couple different apartment communities and this is by far the best in Nashville. They keep everything very clean. I love the "pet lounge" they added - which is so nice on rainy or colder days and there is an amazing dog washing station. You can walk to most everything in Germantown. And one of the best parts is that the staff is so friendly and attentive to things - they do their job right and go out of their way. Parking is great and the building is very secure. The workout facility is great as well.

The staff and management are very friendly. They remember your name and make you feel like you're part of a community. They also respond to request in a timely fashion.

If you're not a dog lover it can be a little overwhelming at times. You may have to deal with random dogs sniffing you in the elevator and dogs barking in the middle of the night. I've also came across dog feces in the hallway. However, they seem to clean it up fast and the dogs don't bother me.

The staff and management are wonderful and responsive throughout all hours of the day. If you need to address something, your calls will be answered and message will never go ignored.

The cleanliness is beyond compare. Upon my first viewing, I was impressed and that has not changed.

4th act on their part to be dishonest + horrible company, my Jefferson St. Condo flooded with sewer water, left for many days w/promises unfulfilled. .2ft of sewer water on carpet they refuse to replace carpet + pad leaving apt. noxious uninhabitable.

I'm actually shocked that Vista is getting a not so nice rep on yelp. Especially because I use yelp for everything! I'm going on my third year living in Vista and it's my favorite apartment I've ever lived in. The staff is like family and the maintenance team is the best! It's one of the only places downtown with a pool, a nice gym, and dog friendly. It's so close to some of the best restaurants in Nashville, but far enough from downtown the traffic isn't bad. I've been meaning to write a review after living here from May to November 2013. We rented a unit with a city view facing Jefferson st. We loved the hardwood floors and our apartment itself. The finishes had a nice touch and sitting from the living room every night with a view of the Nashville skyline, you could never go wrong.

The pool on the weekends got pretty interesting to say the least. More of an upbeat younger crowd overtaking the area. During the week nights my fiancé and I would grill out a couple times a week and sit by the fire pit with the TV outside. That was a perk.

I want to start out by saying that my boyfriend and I do not live here, but we were suppose to! Here's what happened and the reason that we do not.

We were suppose to move in May 28th, which was a Tuesday. I received an email at 4pm on the 24th, which was Friday stating that they would have to move up our move in day about a week! They couldn't be bothered to call us regarding something like this?? So, as of the 28th my boyfriend and I had no where to live! They kept stating that the current tenant was suppose to move out, and they had not recieved his keys yet. The most frustrating

Save your wallet and look elsewhere. There's really only two reasons to be here and multiple reasons not to.

Location is great, your neighbors will be great.

HOWEVER, the staff are terrible. Maybe it's the leasing company, but the staff do everything possible to screw you out of more money. The tiniest little things will be an extra surpsied $50 added on to your monthly rent. And if you don't look closely, you won't even notice.
