Update: I really enjoy the team of TeJay, Diana, and Blake! They are doing a phenomenal job and are very responsive to every pesky need I have as a renter. I have seen much improvement with the new management team and love all the tenant appreciation events they are doing.
After owning a home for 10 years, I decided to sell and move back into apartment life. The office staff (especially Jeremy and Diana) have been very patient with me. They have also extended me kindness when I will be the first to admit, I can be a difficult resident. It's hard to beat the location.

The community manager is rude and abrasive while putting on a blatantly fake smile. IRT would be much better suited putting someone else in charge of what would otherwise be a great place to live. Moving out a couple of months ago was a huge hassle. Renters should stay away from Fountains until then.

I've lived in 4 apartment complexes for over a year at each and this has by far been the best experience and best complex. VERY accommodating staff that is quick to communicate. Awesome community events, wonderful amenities! If you are looking for an apartment in South End - check this one out! Convenient location as well for light rail (across the street from New Bern Station).

I greatly enjoyed my 3 years here! The leasing office was helpful and responsive, the maintenance team had an incredibly quick turnaround, the amenities & community events were fantastic, and the location next to the light rail stop, breweries, and restaurants can't be beat! I highly recommend Fountains Southend.

I woke up this morning and realized my car went missing (found out it got towed); Even though the car definitely has a sticker. So I had to waste half of my day (Time off work) trying to figure it out, and also have to pay to tow fee. What's going on Fountain? This is our 2nd year lease as well... I don't do I want to live in an apt that "accidentally" tows your car

I am highly disappointed by fountains south end. Their manager is rude and unprofessional and I have had nothing but difficulties with them since moving in. I am extremely disappointed in choosing this apartment community and regret it deeply. I would never recommend this apartment building to anyone. I have much preferred other places in south end I have lived where the community is understanding and accommodating. The level of unprofessionalism is mind blowing. Stay away from Fountains Southend, Do not move in here!

Great location if you don’t mind traffic and construction. I have lived there for 2 years and my roommate 5 or 6 years. We have both had great experiences until recently. the management staff has had constant turnover and the most recent leasing manager is less than helpful and has lied about and failed to communicate policy changes and has a very condescending attitude. With all the other complexes to chose from, this would not be my first choice. Look elsewhere!

I moved into Fountains SouthEnd in February and I have nothing negative to say. This has been by FAR my favorite apartment complex to live in. Angie, Mandy, Jeremy, Darla, and the new property manager (not sure of her name) have made the moving in process and daily living smooth and easy. Everyone has been extremely nice and exceeded expectations for resident service. The location is ideal; I am across the street from a Harris Teeter and we are located right at a Lightrail stop. Fountains SouthEnd is in a great location in Charlotte! I just moved in a month and a half ago but my time here has been great so far! Love all of the staff in the leasing office - they are all friendly, efficient, and hard-working, and they care about their residents. The amenities and apartments themselves here are also extremely nice! For anyone wanting to live in SouthEnd, I would recommend living here!

Comfortable urban living with amenities! I lived here for 2 years and my experience was mostly great! The staff run by Darla was very considerate and accommodating. I had a couple of tough roommate situations and the staff was understanding helping me get through them. There were a few incidents with theft and vandalism but I felt very safe overall.
