This community is going downhill lately.
I have been waiting for a month now to have my microwave oven replaced. I ended up buying a portable microwave oven to go by.
The trash disposal area is always overloaded.
USPS is not delivering mail for this apartment for over 2 months now. I have to drive 25 minutes each way every week to pickup my mail.
Despite all of these, they decided to increase the rent by $150 this year. They will probably lure you in with an introductory rate to increase the price later. If you want to stay for an year only, you might be okay. But, this is not a place to stay

The mailboxes are not deliverable by usps and you must drive 20 minutes to the post office to wait in line for mail pickup. Extremely difficult if you don't have transportation. Last mail was delivered in mid October and the management have no plans to fix them. If you have any other option please do not move in here.

The details of the apartment are poorly made, cracks around the windows, the molding, nothing was caulked. The front door was hung poorly, and doesn't consistently latch. The latch itself is an older style, and less secure, but they do make sure to push you to pay for a security system with old hardware already left behind. Paint is poorly laid acrylic, and steadily peels and bubbles off, sticking to anything but the wall. When we asked about pest control, they blamed us for cleanliness instead of addressing the fact that ants were literally crawling out of cracks in the walls and around the outlets

San and Kaci were great going through the lease process. Work order put in and maintenance came fast and repaired our issue.
Edit: temporarily reducing a star as my porch is a pond of standing water with algae and mold growing in it. I've contacted the front office a few times and they told me that they would get back to me soon, that was about a month ago now and they've ignored my email as well. Also the mailboxes are broken.
Apartment is still otherwise great and highly recommended once these issues are sorted out!

I have lived in my apartment here since 2016 and have loved it up until this past year. I had switched to month to month in 2020 since I planned on moving and covid put a financial stop to that. Prior to my new rate increase in 2021, I had asked the management team if I had the option either keep my rate the same or if there was a way to have it lowered if I had signed an updated lease and opted out of the month to month. I was told this was not an option due to market rate, but that they would ask and follow up with me, which did not happen, however, I see in the reviews that exceptions were made

They do not allow Lease Transfers, have only one trash unit for the entire community and parking can be problem based on which building you reside.
The apartment managers just refused to transfer my lease to another tenant. All the other apartment complexes in the neighborhood allow this. The lease contract does have a section for allowing the transfer, but the managers just outright refused me without giving a reason. They also rejected my request for getting corporate contact information, so I could make a case with them directly.

I just wanted to send a shout out to San, our leasing manager/consultant. He is the NICEST person ever and was super easy to work with. He was quick to reply, very honest, very understanding, and was there each step of the way during the leasing process and answered any questions/concerns that we had. I can tell that he really cares about his potential tenants, listens closely, and is very attentive to their needs. Also, the apartments themselves are gorgeous. I love the "greenery" feeling in the middle of the city, the grounds are kept clean and are beautifully landscaped, and the units themselves

I stayed in Verandas for almost 5 years. I really liked the apartment; ambience and the office staff have been very helpful throughout. I never thought I would feel sad leaving the place but I'm excited for the next chapter of my life. I will keep visiting Verandas since I have friends who stay there.

My partner and I took a tour of this beautiful place and looked at one of the units. I fell inlove right away. I love the apartment unit. We’re currently staying in another apartment complex and our contract is soon to expire and we have no plan to extend our stay here. I really want to move in to Commons at Verandas but unfortunately their price went up. Would there be a probability prices will go down in the next 3 months? 😢

The commons at verandas is definitely at a good location, but the staff is horrible and I don't think they care much about tenants. We've stayed there for 3.5 years and they have charged me with a huge amount when we vacated the apartment although we made sure everything is clean and the charges aren't justified properly when I asked them over email. We've once got the roof leak also when we stayed inside the apartment and have to urgently call maintenance team for fixing it soon and garbage isn't maintained properly. There are very serious MOLD problems as well in these

Noise: Walls are thin. I can hear my neighbor watching TV, and when they are having fun. Sometimes, when they are having fun in their bedroom, my bed also shakes at late night. Haha...
Parking: In daytime, it has never been an issue. But, it can be a problem after 8pm. I had to drive around for 15mins at 9pm, before a spot opened up.
Staff: Management needs to be changed. They are rude, and will add different fees. For example, their autopay will not work, and they will add $75 fees for late payment. Or, if there is anything on patio, there goes another $75 fees. Management is quite happy to

I gave one star because there is no another alternative otherwise would not even gave the Sh..t star. Unfortunately, I lived here in this dump rat-hole (so called luxury apartments.. my a..s) for 9 months and the sad thing was that I was under lots of life and work stress and moved from California extremely in rush to get a place which caused me to sign a 9-months contract with these low levels, low lives, and racist with no class (indeed some employees) at Verandas. This place is noisy, filthy, and the garbage area smells like hell. No rules apply to this place, despite the fact that the county

Would leave zero stars if i could. If you're considering moving here, DONT! the miscommunication between management in the office is horribly unbelievable. I get a different answer each time. Their screening process is a joke. Even if you have proper paper work they will eat up your application fees and tell you to wait 40 days for thier screening company to review your dispute. Meanwhile they put your apartment back on market and raise the rental price while you wait on them to get their stuff together. What a joke! The apartment does smell like curry. parking was not good. Nothing mangement

NEW PAINT, OLD MOLD!!!! - These apartments have serious mold problems. I talked to my neighbors and they all had mold problems in their apartments as well. These apartments will destroy your health. I lived here for 3 months, after the first month of living here mold started growing in every room in the apartment. It became abundantly clear that they had just hastily cleaned up the mold in the apartment to get me in there and that it had serious long-term underlying mold problems plaguing this apartment. There was mold growing in every single window sill and in the cabinets, underneath the bathroom

Have lived in lots of apartments over the past 25 years and have never felt moved enough to want to write a review for any of them until now.
My apartment is gorgeous. Hardwood floors, my bedroom is gigantic, my ceiling is fifteen feet tall and my bathroom is so big I could almost lay down twice in a row and still fit inside of it. I also love all the storage space - I have seven closets / storage spaces total in my one bedroom apartment! I mean where can you find that? Really!? It's awesome. I have a walk-in pantry and a walk-in bedroom closet and a storage closet in my bathroom

DO NOT MOVE HERE!
These apartments look nice on the outside, and they may even look nice when you go on a tour, but the Leasing and Property Management employees are rude, unprofessional, and unresponsive.
Let's get real--these people are a JOKE. They don't know how to treat people as decent human beings and will do anything to nickle and dime you from the time you move in to even after you move out. (I think they know they're driving their business to the ground and the only way to stay afloat is fees, fees, and more fees!)
Never in my life have I been treated in such a demeaning

This place is nice to live in- and this place sucks to live at. You have 1 trash area, when they have so many dump sights that they can use for trash...:You get fined if you have pretty much ANYTHING on your patio. No shoes, no boxes, no water bottles what so ever out on your patio for a place that were paying $1,900 to live at. We are required to buy a parking spot, and we have to get guest parking passes for people. I lived here a few years ago, and there was no rules like this before. Also, when it was snowing and icey out, wouldn't you think they would at lease sprinkle some ice melt out

I agree, with the other reviews, looks deceivingly nice. Been here 2 yrs & my lease is up in August 2016 & I can't wait to move out! There is so much going on here that I would need to take out a full page ad. Just some are below.
Always changing staff in the office & they're always worse then the ones prior....appears to happen every 6 mo.
Undesirable & loud neighbors.
Last year raised my rent $210 when I got back from vacation. They stated the increase "this is the current rate on your apartment. However, that included upgrades with new carpet, new blinds

I just moved out of Commons At Verandas and I had a very pleasant experience. I thought the apartments were nice and the grounds seem to be well kept. They were a bit soggy when the rains came but that sure beats all the flooding happening in the states back east.
There is only one garbage drop off point on the property and while that may be somewhat of a hike for some, I wasn't bothered by it, it's called exercise, The parking tags are a hassle if you get lucky and have an overnight guest, perhaps they should issue each apartment one guest pass to use when necessary.

This place looks deceivingly nice. The floor plans are functional, I loved all of the green space all around, and there was lots of open parking..BUT the longer we live here the more we hate it.
1. The nice looking landscaping we loved when we first moved in has been one of the worst features because they don't take care of it. The lawn behind our building hasn't been mowed over 4 months and it's taller than our dog. Not to mention the drainage is terrible, leaving the lawn extremely muddy, the pathways are constantly flooded and there's about an inch of mud on the pathways

They snuck in an almost 20% rent increase just days before the 90-day law went into effect (90 day notice now mandatory for rent increases over 5%). They only gave me 30 day notice for such a huge rent increase, leaving me no choice but to move out. The law is in place to protect people from homelessness, so just because what you did was LEGAL doesn't mean it was RIGHT.

This is meant to be a luxury apartment complex but it isn't. There are so many better places to live in this area for less money with newer appliances, better services, beautiful surroundings etc.
For the money they really don't offer a lot. Just the basics: pool, fitness centre and a garage facility that you have to drive too. That's my biggest problem with this place. I have to drive my trash to the other side of the premises as they only have one trash facility. Which is disgusting. Most luxury apartments now have 'trash fairies.'

As a current resident of this apartment, I can't believe how they work. They leased the carport I've been using to others without saying anything to me. My husband needed to sign on the paper and it was delayed a bit. I've told them he would stop by the office this weekend and they said 'OK'. However they did it ON THE SAME DAY and told me they couldn't wait for my husband's sign any more. OMG! Never move in here. I just hope time flies and my lease is up.
