Dr. Christina Brown was born and raised in Sarasota County. She attended Lemon Bay High School in Englewood, FL and graduated Summa Cum Laude. For her undergraduate education, she attended the University of Florida where she majored in Health Sciences.
Dr. Brown received a Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2009 in Fort Lauderdale, FL and graduated as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honors Society.Six months of Dr. Brown's education was completed at an externship in Sarasota, FL at Center for Sight.

Since 2012, the optometrists at Brown Vision Care have provided excellent comprehensive eye examinations and medical diagnostic services for our patients. Unlike other offices where you may feel like "just another number, " we are very interested in communicating with you, listening to you, and responding to your personal needs.
They were spot-on. I decided to wait weeks for an appointment with Dr. Brown, although I was offered a sooner appointment with an Associate. I did ask to be called in the event of a cancellation and that did happen. I highly recommend this office, I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the woman at the front desk.

Doctor Brown and Doctor King are the most amazing doctors ever!. And Christy the manager is wonderful. The customer service is top notch, and they go above and beyond for their patients!! Dr. Brown was on vacation & called me back that night & then in AM about an eye emergency and worked us in the next AM even though Dr King was super busy. Thanks to the whole staff, my husband is much better. I highly recommend them.

AMAZING!!!!!!! what a wonderful experience, the office was immaculate. The staff was super friendly so kind and personable. Dr. Brown is the greatest! My daughter has many eye problems and being 17 years old and driving she has not worn her glasses the way that she should and Dr. Brown was able to get her in contacts! everything she did she explained for us to be able to understand exactly what she wanted to get across it was great. I highly recommend Dr. Brown and my daughter and I look forward to continuing being her patients.

I just recently had my annual eye exam with Dr. Brown and my overall experience was excellent. The staff was very accommodating and the exam was exceptionally thorough. The vision with my new glasses is better than it’s been for some time. Any wait time for an appointment with this office is absolutely worth it... don’t miss out on this treatment and service.

The best optometrist I have gone to in my life. Thorough, kind, knowledgeable, talks to you like an adult. Referred me to a surgeon for cataract surgery and her introduction ensured I got the best care from his office. And don't get me started on Dr. Brown's staff! Very respectful and down right fun to talk to. And you don't have to me a Costco member to go to her. Change optometrists today and go to Brown Vision Care

Filled out all my paperwork online and submitted. Had an appointment for 2:45, I show up at 2:15 to make sure everything was good. The front staff reviewed everything and said "your good". They were helpful and did all my preliminary test, Puff test, retinal imaging etc. (took about 5-10 min) then said please come back at 2:45. I said ok great thx, I mean who doesn't like to walk around Costco!

I decided to visit this office for contacts, based 100% on the reviews that I had read ..which were positive. They were spot-on.

We recently moved to Sarasota and three of my friends highly recommended Brown Vision Care. I therefore scheduled an appointment. I went two days ago for my annual eye exam. I was very impressed with the service provided and the level of care rendered. Dr. Brown conducted a very thorough exam and then spend considerable time with me to discuss her findings. I left her office feeling she really cared about the health of my eyes.

I had never worn glasses or even had a thorough eye exam until I turned 30. I realized my vision was getting a little fuzzy and knew I needed help. Thanks to Dr. Brown I felt comfortable throughout the apt. and found out everything I needed to know about my eyes. I have since relocated to Boston yet have family in FL so will continue to see her whenever I notice another change. I highly recommend her and her staff. They are all amazing!

I like Dr. Brown and that's important to me. I prefer my doctors on the friendly side; and I want to go to someone who is competent and trustworthy. So I am pleased with her work. The exam is very thorough, and I opt for the extra service where they take pictures of the inside of the eye. I like having a touchstone we can refer to to monitor with greater care as to how my eyes are changing. Dr. Brown's chief concern is what is going on with your eyes. If you wish, you can take your prescriptions and go anywhere to purchase frames and lenses. Although it's handy that you are right

Dr. Brown is the best eye doctor I have been to. I have terrible vision and super sensitive eyes so I get pretty bad anxiety about eye exams, with Dr. Brown I was relaxed and comfortable. She was so nice and didn't make me feel bad about having the vision of an octogenarian. The facility was clean and welcoming placed conveniently inside the Costco at Westfield mall, it was easy to locate and you don't even need to be a Costco member to enjoy the benefits of this great eye clinic! I would recommend Brown Vision Care/ Dr. Brown to anyone that needs an optometrist in the Sarasota area. Brown Vision Care is located inside the Costco which makes is convenient for me, and other Costco members, however you don't need a Costco membership to see Dr. Brown. Brown Vision Care office staff was pleasant to deal with, and the office was spotless clean.
