She received her B.S. from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and her Optometry degree in 2014 from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton, CA.

After calling several other places looking for a place to take my daughter, I was relieved to find them. The lady I spoke with on the phone was really nice and helpful. When we came in for her appointment, I decided to make an appointment for my son and I. It's very clean, all the ladies are pleasant and they have a good selection of frames. I like this place so far!

Had a general eye exam/eyeglass prescription update. Whole appointment lasted for about 15 min. Very efficient.....perhaps too efficient.
Although Dr. Vang was really nice, she was going beat-by-beat on the exam with no stops. I was expecting the dreadful pressurized-air-bursts-straight-into-eye part (the one that tests for eye pressure) but instead she used a small handheld contraption for it. Super curious about it, I asked her what it does/how does it work, but she pretty much glossed over it and continued with the exam.
If you want a quick yet thorough, no-fuss eye exam then go here. Otherwise

My first time here and Dr. Vang is absolutely lovely!! Her staff is very professional and very friendly and helpful. They sure made me feel welcomed and very good at what they do, no additional paperwork needed and they took care of all my insurance info. The office is very clean and Dr. Vang impressed me very much on how personable she is and even took the time to help me find a stylish frame that'll work best with my face shape. My new and go to eye doctor from now on!!

First time here and I was able to get an appointment a week after I called which is a lot faster than the place I usually go to. They were booked out until February and it was only October when I called. Anyways, the optometrist is taking all COVID-19 precautions and are only letting patients in one at a time & The doors are kept locked. The ladies there are very friendly and nice. The doctor was a sweetheart and very informative. She's been open for almost 3 years now. All her equipment are high tech and up to date. I love that they gave me a copy of my prescription. I have been going to Eye Exam of California (Lens Crafters) for many years but they have gotten pretty expensive and were closed during the current pandemic. My friend recommended this place as she received excellent services from here. I visited their website and saw a notice on their front page stated that they were opened. A little disappointed, came here and spent nearly $1000 on contacts for myself and my niece out of pocket not including insurance...which wouldn't have been a big deal because we did get year supply for us both and that includes examination. However, I was advised I would be spending less because of a rebate for the year supply of contacts of $200, come to find out it expired. Ok that's fine... Then I was given another rebate for $100 for the year supply... submitted all my documents and it was denied. I called the manufacturer to find out what I did wrong, only to find out per the rebate

This optometry has been the best service I've seen in the last 17 years of wearing glassses/contacts. I've gone to many places and this one takes the cake.
The office is clean and very modern looking, staff very personable and informative, comfortable seating area with mini water bottles and snacks available.
I brought my brother who has schizophrenia in because he needed glasses and they were very trauma informed with him. I'm impressed with this clinic and appreciate the cost, service and overall appearance.

Received my glasses, and wow! I love them. I was welcomed by everyone and they assisted me with care and patience. **I've been to other locations and they've always rushed me and didn't seem interested in helping me besides taking my money! ** but everyone here was very nice! One lady sat down and explained to me in full detail about what options I had and what my insurance covered. She even helped me do the math! They had me at hello! Lol. The receptionist who answered the phone was very professional, friendly and thorough. She was able to get all 3 kids in to be seen the same day - no problem.
My kiddos have special needs and can be a little bit of work to get through thebsimist of processes. Dr. Vang was so sweet and so patient. I loved the whole team who really are a team. I will definitely be back. They have members for life.

Found this hidden gem on Yelp when I was looking optometrists around my area. I was calling around asking for the price of contact lens fittings and to my surprise, Vang Optometry accepts MediCal AND they gave me a fairly reasonable estimate for contact lens fitting. I decided to schedule my mom and I for the following day, which they were able to accommodate.

Such a cute, friendly, professional optometry. I never received such great service from an optometry office. The optometrist had all the newest technology! She did a bunch of exams on me that I've never experienced before. My son has sensory issues and super sensitive about meeting strangers and he was super comfortable and wasn't nervous or scared at all. We left feeling like it's the best we'll spent money in a long time and on my way to best eye site and eye care ever! My son and I highly recommend!!! We will be customers forever. I loooooveee my new glasses. They are so perfect and I can finally see! From beginning to end my experience with Vang Family optometry was excellent. This office is definitely worth every star. I will be back should I have any more eye wear needs. The selection of frames is amazing and very up to date with the latest trends. My first visit to Vang Family Optometry was a very positive experience! Dr Paula Vang was very sweet and before doing anything to my eyes she explained each process thoroughly to make me comfortable.
The office is very modern and clean! Browsing through the glasses on display I felt like every option was right there in front of me. She has a wide variety of glasses selection and helped me pick out the right frame!

I decided to go to this office after calling many places, and there were no available time slots for my schedule. I gave this location a call and surprisingly, they were able to see me on the same day! Not only that, they were able to schedule in my friend the same day as well.
The office was very clean and inviting. There were two front desk clerks who were very kind and informative. They were completely helpful with the glasses picking process, not trying to oversell and letting us know in depth about the benefits of their products.

I highly recommend this place. It's a brand new store and has a great selection of glasses and contacts. I got my eye exam from Dr Vang and she took the time to explain things to me during my exam. I was born with a cataract in my left eye so I know I can be a challenge to work with. She and her staff made me feel at ease and helped me pick out contacts and glasses that are good for my condition. I feel like this is the best I've seen in years!
