The entire appointment process went very smoothly. Starting with scheduling the appointment 3 months prior, the check-in and screening process was very professional and courteous. The exam was explained fully and review of my eye health was very detailed to my satisfaction. I was offered the opportunity to look for new glasses. I was given a tray to put any glasses I touched. The glasses would be sanitized before being replaced on the display. The office practices excellent COVID protocols with the patients.

I don’t do well with change but since we moved we needed to find a new eye doctor. Dr VonHolten was wonderful. He was very good with explaining all the test they did before the exam and then his recommendations. I would recommend him and his friendly staff to anyone. Thank you for an enjoyable transition.

I've been going here for about 2 years and never dealt with so much attitude. The lady that checks you out, shes tall and skinny, most ignorant lady I've run into at a professional place. From scheduling an appointment to picking out glasses to asking the cost of what I owe her attitude was outrageous. I even told them that I will not be back nor will my daughter.

The staff was super friendly and helpful! Dr. Von Holten was by far one of the best eye doctors I’ve ever seen. He was warm, friendly, and took the time to explain what he was looking at in regards to my overall eye health. The turnaround on my new glasses was very quick and everything fit perfectly!

After moving to Minooka and needing to find a closer eye doctor I was not disappointed with Von Holten. From the outside you wouldn’t know it was an eye doctor because it is a single level home converted to a doctors office, make sure to pay attention to the sign outside so you know you are in the right place! I was greeted by a friendly front office staff and clean workplace. The technology that is used in this location is amazing, multiple tests were done and NO MORE EYE PUFFS!

I could not be happier with my glasses. Cassie took time to help me pick out a pair that looked good on me and fit me right. She also helped me pick out the right kind of contacts to fit my needs. The picture that was taken of my eyes pointed out a spot in my eye that wasn't picked up by the old method. This helped me get the correct lenses and I no longer have a blurry spot. The doctor took his time with me and answered all my questions. My glasses came quickly and Cassie makes ordering my contacts easy. I would recomend getting the transition lenses that change in the car, no need to keep
