Since 2001, we have worked to uncover the best vineyard sites for varietals grown in the AVAs of the Columbia Valley. Then, we gently guide the winemaking process to deliver wines that express the beauty, complexity, and age-worthiness the region has to offer.
Primarily fermented and aged in French Oak barrels, a smaller portion of this wine was put in stainless steel, providing an additional layer of complexity and offering a dose of bright acidity.Sign up for our occasional email and be one of the first to take advantage of limited offers and upcoming events.

Forgeron Cellars was born out of a quest to produce site-specific wines that illustrate the diversity found amongst Columbia Valley's different viticultural appellations. Our mission is to produce small-lot, artisan wines that accurately display each vineyard, varietal, and appellation. We believe that much of winemaking occurs in the vineyard and adhere to traditional techniques while utilizing the benefits of modern innovation.
All Syrah from the Boushey Vineyard, aged in one-third new French oak, the 2017 Syrah Boushey Vineyard Birdhouse Block has a ripe, opulent bouquet of cassis, toasted spice, licorice, ground pepper, and graphite. This medium to full-bodied effort has loads of pure fruit, some chewy yet ripe tannins, plenty of mid-palate oomph, and a great finish.
We take great pleasure in crafting small lots of wine that showcase terroir and varietal purity, altogether for the enjoyment of our wine club members. We also take great pride in providing exceptional experiences to our members when visiting one of our tasting room locations. Terms of Membership: Must be 21 years of age or older.
For the safety of staff and guests during the pandemic, both Forgeron Cellars tasting room locations are open by reservation. We appreciate your patience and support during these challenging times and look forward to the day when we may all gather to celebrate the conclusion of the pandemic. Discover our wines through a hand-picked tasting flight which includes five of our newest releases.

Great wines for those who love Bordeaux style reds!
We actually discovered Forgeron while in Walla Walla but pick up our wine club in Woodinville. Their Forgeron line is stellar but they even have a more upscale line called Anvil - try both!
Especially favorite is their Cabernet Sauvignon. Their tasting room is on the smaller side, but there is room both indoors and outdoors to enjoy their wine.

This is my go-to winery. Both to visit and to buy cases for home consumption. I limit myself to only one wine club membership at a time and have shifted wineries from regions around the world. Forgeron has won my (now) long time membership due to their high quality wines AND how great their people are. Give them a try. Just leave me some bottles to buy! Hahaha

Stopped in to this place because we had a groupon for another winery that addressed here, but apparently that place had closed some 3 months ago. Aside from that, we were immediately greeted warmly and began a tasting. Tried several options and the woman serving us was friendly and informative regarding what we were drinking. Cute little place, but we were able to grab a couple of bar stools (which was good since this was not our first wine tasting stop of the day). Wine tasting fee even got waived if you purchased a bottle, I got the Facon Rouge, very tasty!

If you remember an episode in Seinfeld about soup Nazis - that's Forgeron cellars wine club. This is the only wine club I know that doesn't allow you to exchange wines in you pickup/shipment from the ones you don't want to the ones you want. Basically you are stuck drinking what you got whether you like it or not. If it turns out the wine you don't like - the joke is on you.
While their wines are quite good, some are better than others. However, since they are so customer unaccommodating I can only give them two stars.

Prior to our second visit, we stopped by an unnamed tasting room. I thought my taste buds were off because this was supposed to be a very good winery and it had very little depth. We hit Forgeron and, nope, my taste buds were fine. When you have well made wine you know it. They are complex and wonderfully balanced. It is some of the better affordable wine in Woodinville.
The tasting room is small, but staff is wonderful. They are sociable and welcoming. They will talk wine, food, travel, you name it. We came for the wine and, well we stayed for the wine, but the people really held us
