Services
Sarzotti Vineyard & Winery, a small family-owned and operated venture set off El Pomar on the east side of Templeton not far from Highway 41, produces 3,000 cases a year, 100 cases per varietal. As a complete family operation, it is owned by Jim and Cheryl Sarzotti along with their son and daughter-in-law, James and Jenne Sarzotti.
More than a century ago our ancestors migrated from the fertile rolling hills of Tuscany, Italy. Seeking opportunity in America, they settled in a little known southern California area called Rancho Cucamonga, where the land was inexpensive, the soil rich and water plentiful. Some of the grapes picked were delivered to the local winery.
You may purchase our wines from our Online Store or join our Wine Club and you will receive priority invitations to special events and great discounts on our wines! Made from Viognier grapes this "white wine" has a rich and complex aroma and is low in acid and tannin. Distinctive fruit character of apricot, mango, and tangerine on the nose with a floral finish.
Join our Wine Club today to receive exclusive member's wine club shipments twice yearly (Fall and Spring) and discounts on wine purchases. As a Sarzotti Winery Wine Club Member you will also receive special invites to all winery events. Cost include CA sales tax and shipping. Members for prefer to pick-up club shipments can do so at our Membership Pick-up Party or anytime we are open.
If an item in your order is not available for immediate shipment, we will notify you and offer a substitution recommendation or provide the option of holding your order until all items are available for shipment. Sarzotti Vineyard does not ship on weekends and major holidays. Additionally, under extreme weather conditions Sarzotti Vineyard reserves the right to delay the release of shipments to ensure product quality.

Highly recommend Sarzotti's Vineyard and Winery, which is family owned and in the Templeton area within Paso Robles. All the wines are very good with some standouts including the 2018 Bellumore and 2018 Zinfandel. They also have a couple nice table wines in the Dante and Vin Tabola, which literally means table wine. Our sommelier was very knowledgeable and shared vivid stories about the names of the wines and origins. The service is excellent. There's a lot of outdoor seating and the place is family friendly with plenty of room for your kids to run around if you have them. Out toddler

Found by accident this place that makes wine without pretentious prices or attitude. Make this your first stop in the Paso Area. Full of flavor.

We made an unplanned stop here at the end of a wine tasting day and I am so glad we did! We sat around tasting and talking with the family, learning about their family history and how the winery got started. It felt like we were just all friends enjoying a warm evening on the patio! All the wines we tasted were delicious but the Bellemore and Petite Sirah were incredible. I can't wait to come back and visit again!

My husband and I were so charmed by Sarzotti Winery a few years ago we had to become wine club members. All of their wines (mostly reds, but also whites, roses and special sweet wines) are absolutely delicious and also affordable, especially with the 20% members discount.

The vineyard and tasting room are picturesque, peaceful and very charming. The Sarzotti family is so friendly and fun, we feel like we are being welcomed to a friend's home every time we return. Guests really are treated warmly, like family.

We love going to the wine club pick-up parties that are held many times a year

This is our 2nd visit to the Paso Robles area visiting family and many wineries in the past 2 years and even though there are hundreds of wineries to explore, this without a doubt Sarzotti’s is our favorite and one to repeat. What a warm, welcoming family run winery and in a beautiful rural setting. Every wine we sampled was excellent and the pours were more than generous. Thank you Cheryl Sarzotti for sharing your amazing wines and for making us feel like family! ❤️❤️🍷❤️❤️🍷

I am so glad that we came here. We went to a bigger winery earlier this week, but this is much more personal and enjoyable. You get to sit down and really enjoy your afternoon while at the bigger one you feel more like at a busy bar. The owner will serve you personally and you get to ask more questions and take your time. I would definitely recommend come here and support local business.

Sarzotti is one of my favorites. Cheryl the owner is an amazing host and is one of the friendliest wineries in the area. Highly recommended, and coming from the Food Network I have high standards and do not say this lightly.

Extremely pleasant and fun staff; very knowledgeable. They treat you like family and keep you wanting to stay for more fun and engagement. Patches (dog) is also very friendly, and even more so if you are able to share a protein based morsel with him!

My wife and I visited here based on the reviews found on Google Maps. We were not disappointed. They are welcoming and have some great wines! The patio is nice and the views overlooking the vineyards are great. I highly recommend dropping by and having a tasting.

Family run winery making good wine and lots of friends. We have visited twice and had a great experience both times. Our favorite wines have been the Syrah and Malbec. Each time we were there they had cheese out to enjoy with the tasting. We don't know if they charge a tasting fee because we have not been charged for one but we do buy wine when we visit. The place is a little out of the way but worth the journey. Sarzotti is a 5 star destination for wine.

We dropped by last Sunday while we were in the area. The last time we were here was about 3 years ago on Thanksgiving and could barely get in the door - the place was jumping because it had been one of only about two places open on the day. This time, we were the only tasters in the room, which was wonderful. The owners were both present, which is so lovely - you really get a chance to see their own passion for their family history and the vines. Hard to believe this family got their start in Rancho Cucamonga. (or as I know it, Alta Loma!)

The tasting itself was really great, and they even offer

We were looking for wineries off the beaten path and if you're like us, this is the spot for you. The owners are so kind and humble; and you could tell, were very proud of their italian-style wine. We actually ended up leaving with a couple of bottles, even though we're not typically Italian wine fans. I think our favorite part of this winery was that it felt like what wineries should feel like - what wineries must have been like a couple decades back before they all became commercialized and a mini-disney for adults. The owners were extremely warm upon our entrance, immediately introduced

Came for the first time during a pickup party and this place was popping. Despite being busy the customer service was exceptional. Owners were present and really nice people. Offered free cheese and crackers and I was advised that this is not just for the party but it's offered all the time. I thought that was awesome. Wines were solid. Bought a couple bottles. Tastings were offered without a fee. Very rare now days. This is a place you want to support. I definitely look to bring some friends back.

BF and I really liked Sarzotti. They were recommended by a neighboring winery, and we're glad we stopped by. The owners were super chill and tastings were complimentary, that's the right way to sell your product - we're much more inclined to buy a couple of bottles when we haven't just paid a bottle's worth for a meager tasting, like other places. They also had some complimentary cheese and crackers, great conversation and history. Definitely recommended.

Excellent place. So far from the high class look of some wineries this ultra boutique, family estate is charming and lovely. The wines are great too but the atmosphere and charme is and absolute winner.

We really enjoyed the wines here. They have mostly red varieties of a single grape, and so many of them were fantastic! We visited 8 vineyards on our trip, and this was by far the best tasting wine we encountered. The property isn't quite a scenic as some of the other vineyards in the area, but come here for the tasting, and try everything they offer. The Sarzottis are a friendly family that own and operate the vineyard, and they will likely be pouring your samples. We went on a Sunday, and they had an assortment of cheeses, crackers and pesto sauce to accompany the tasting. Lots of great flavors

Creston Wine Trail is so different from Paso Robles. East of quaint, historic Templeton, the 2-lane, countrified drive sets itself apart from the more prestigious, extravagant areas just to the north and west. It is a joy to drive and just let go of your worries. Vast grassy meadows, rolling hills, tree lined creeks, almost entirely agricultural and cattle country. You will pass an occasional modest farm house with free spirited dogs, maybe an egg farm where the chickens and roosters roam freely, and see plenty of unpretentious winery signs and bumpy dirt driveways. It's fun finding these

DO NOT MISS A VISIT TO THIS PLACE. Now this is what I call a winery. It reminds me of the ones from my childhood in Boyes Hot Springs (Valley of the Moon, Sonoma County). Lots of oak barrels, great smells and warm Italian hospitality. Second place we visited on our ride along the Creston Trail on a Saturday. Very memorable visit and we will be back on our next visit to load up the car. No tasting fee and value pricing.

Great family-owned vineyard with a very friendly staff! The tasting room is nicely done but can be a bit small on a busy day. The wines are excellent and the companion hors'devours are usually very tasty. The wine club is really simple and a great deal, too.
