Fresh air continuously enters each studio and hallways for approximately 6 exchanges per hour. We have installed air purification systems (iWave) to reduce and remove allergens, pathogens, and particles found in viruses. Filtering the air is important to maintain good air quality and our filters are replaced on a regular maintenance schedule.
Air quality is a top priority - our state-of-the-art HVAC system continuously circulates fresh air, filters the air, and purifies the air so you feel confident and safe. If vaccinated, you may practice yoga without a mask, proof of vaccination required. If unvaccinated, you must wear a mask. Step 3: You will enter a waiting room, please use your name that matches our roster as we check attendance with Mindbody.

Try an Iyengar, Flow Fundamental or Restorative class - these are all suitable for novices. Wear comfortable clothing that will let you move, reach high and low but that is not too baggy so it gets in your way. Wear shorts, sweats, yoga pants - whatever works for you. You might want a layer for the beginning and end of class.
At Artemis Yoga, you will find vinyasa (flow), ashtanga, Iyengar and restorative yoga classes as well as yoga for kids and families. Each style teaches you the principles of alignment but also uses movement with breath to get your body going. In vinyasa yoga, you will find sun salutations and instructions to inhale in as you reach up, exhale as you extend forward, etc.

I'm in town for a week and visited this yoga studio today. It's laid out well and has upgraded its air cleaning/circulation systems during the pandemic. The 11:00 Iyengar Yoga class was wonderful. I hadn't done yoga in awhile and had some physical challenges that I shared with instructor. She helped me modify as needed. I felt safe, stretched, and very relaxed when I was done. I'll definitely return on my next visit

Can I do 10 stars!? I've been practicing Iyengar yoga for nearly 30 years, and Artemis is simply superb, a warm and welcoming studio and a true community. The space is bright and spotless. The teachers are top-flight, attentive, and careful, modifying poses to suit individual abilities (even in COVID Zoom classes!). The range of classes and educational sessions is impressive. Oh, and lovely front-of-house staff plus easy parking. Hats off to owner Liz Padula for creating and nurturing this gem of a yoga studio!

Liz did an amazing job keeping the studio clean and well run before this crises. She made a decisive action before many other studios in this area to adapt to this crises and move to online classes. The Artemis community pulled through to make it possible. The teachers at Artemis are smart, talented and flexible and are adapting to this new reality. My membership here was one of the best things I have ever done for my health. I love Artemis.

My last review was 1/13/17, so 3 years later, here I am again to follow up. I honestly don't know where to start, so this might be a bit of a run-on sentence!
Long/short. I knew for years that I wanted to try yoga. To like it enough to have it become part of my lifestyle. I had no idea, no freaking idea, that it would become one of THE most important parts of my life! Yoga to me has become parallel to drinking water every day. I can't live without it.
I know100% that this profound transformation is because of Artemis, the owner, Liz Padula, and the teachers. For me, Alex Amorosi stands

The cleanliness and quality of teachers is really good, I went to three different classes with 3 different teachers. The overall pace is slower and much less of a "workout" than other yoga studios (even the more "intense" classes), however that does not mean it is bad, it just might not be right for you.

I cancelled my class pass upon finding this studio. Every teacher I’ve had has been absolutely wonderful. They’re super knowledgeable and there’s a great variety of class types, levels, and times, making it suitable for anyone! The studio is clean and inviting, the staff is really friendly, and they really make you feel very welcome. It’s my favorite place to unwind and/or get a workout!

I love this place! I've taken many classes with different instructors and all have been great. Sadly, I don't take classes here anymore since moving to Canton but wish I could've moved the studio with me. Mary's 6:00am morning flow is what got me hooked. They have just the right balance of different styles of yoga. I'll be back....

So glad I became a member here! All the teachers I've taken classes with are so kind and welcoming and take the time to help me improve my practice. The studio is nice and airy and I like how they utilize props such as the bolsters and blankets. Lots of different classes for all kinds of abilities and a great yoga community to be a part of.

I love Artemis Yoga - from the open, light, welcoming ambiance of the studio and its good sized yoga rooms, to the selection of times and classes for all yoga levels, and the amazing and knowledgeable instructors who help align your yoga positions to improve your practice as needed/wanted. It's very encouraging and comfortable. Owner Liz and the… instructors also highlight aspects of the background and logic of yoga and its poses that I have not experienced in other studios, and that I find incredibly interesting and useful. My practice has improved and I enjoy being there regularly. I wholeheartedly

I practice at this great place on Mt Auburn Street right near the new CVS in Coolidge Sq. Watertown - Artemis Yoga.
I Love the place (light, airy and immaculate), the instructors (too good for words),
Liz Padula - owner/instructor (genuine, warm encouraging, talented); many options for classes (are amazing) and attendees bring positive energy - at any level of their practice.
I was referred to Artemis by a neurologist to address an ailment (or 2) - and she encouraged me to try Restorative Yoga. Well this was the best advise I had received in a long time and the absolute best choice I have

Artemis Yoga Studio has become one of my regular studios to practice with! I work close by and was so excited to see the studio being completed last December. After attending my first few classes I knew this would be on of my go-to studios! Liz was most welcoming and I immediately felt like I had been practicing there for years (even though I've… only been practicing steadily for a few years total). Aside from being a great teacher herself, Liz has found a phenomenal group of instructors to create a well-rounded schedule of class types. The amount of attention and adjustments that I have

The absolute best choice I have made this past six for my well being. Artemis Yoga...a place to enhance my strength and quiet my mind's chit chat. Clears the mud that clouds up ones sight - and is a place of calming and warm receptivity.
I'm thankful for my choice to join Artemis Yoga and the opportunity it offers and for the gift and benefits I continue to receive " on and off the mat".
Lovely caring instructors and a welcoming authentic owner, Liz.

The best yoga studio I've ever been to. Seriously. Everything from when you first check-in, to the wonderful teachers, to the soothing yet somehow invigorating environment is awesome. I enjoyed every teacher I've had here and like that they each have their own style. I also love the local feel to the studio.
If you're unsure about coming in, just do it. You won't regret it.

So happy to see this yoga studio come to the neighborhood. It's exactly what I have been looking for. Artemis not only offers different yoga levels depending on your abilities. But the yoga instructors are all very passionate about teaching. I joined about a month ago and love the fact they have yoga classes starting at 6:00am. Plus they have lunch hour yoga class that is a perfect for me when I need to get away from my hectic day.

Hi have tried many area yoga studios and was so pleased to find a community oriented and welcoming place for practice. Artemis offers yoga for all levels, and in each level many options are given to find strength and comfort in poses. I really appreciate the mix of flow and restorative classes. Most importantly, all the teachers really care about giving a great experience. I love Artemis!!!

This is a great place. I'm relatively new to yoga (3 months of regular practice 3-5 times a week) and have been to yoga classes at a few other studios in the past, and have really found this to be a great place to learn so far. Supportive, helpful, clearly explain each pose. The studio itself is beautiful. Warm, soft colors, very clean, pleasant staff. Many different instructors so you get a little of everything. If you're looking to get into yoga for the first time, speaking from my own experience, I'd definitely recommend this place.

I joined the first week the studio opened for business - right before the Holidays. The facility is wonderful - everything is brand new - inviting reception area, plenty of lockers, soft colors, ceiling fans and lightning that is easy to adjust. Heat is at 73-76 degrees, which is perfect. One of the walls in the main room has ropes which I tried for the first time ever and loved it. Liz Padula is the best to teach technique. If you are new to yoga, this is the right place to learn the basic positions in the Level 1 class. Other studios I have been to just make you join the flow without much explaining
