The staff at Simply Yoga in Belmont, MA collectively offer decades of yoga experience to assist you in your personal journey of mind, body and spirit. Steph's sequencing is thoughtful and challenging. Her hope is that students will come off the mat feeling challenged, refreshed and balanced. She lives in Watertown and has two children, Adam and Saoirse.

Tom Alden has been a dedicated yogi for 45+years. He has trained directly with with Trungpa Rinpoche, SN Goenka, Ramanand Patel, and BKS Iyengar. By 1994, he had more than 25,000 hours of meditation and yoga experience. Since the early 70's, Tom has worked as a teacher and healer. He trained as a chiropractor and has mastered a full spectrum of manual therapy skills.
Services
Reiki is universal life force energy that animates all beings. When this life force is low or blocked, you can find yourself more vulnerable to imbalances and illness. Reiki sessions encourage healing on all levels - physical, emotional, mental and spiritual - and tend to leave clients feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
At Simply Yoga we're proud to offer a wide range of yoga styles, from strength building vinyasa flow to flow foundations for the beginner to gentle restorative and candle light yoga to Iyengar inspired yoga. We also offer classes for kids and pre- and post-natal mom's. Whether you are new to yoga or a veteran yogi, our classes welcome students of all levels.
At Simply Yoga in Belmont, MA we offer a number of pricing programs for you to take advantage of all of the unique yoga instruction that we offer. Yearly memberships cannot be transferred but do allow for one freeze of up to 60 days with medical documentation. We do not offer refunds or transfers of payment for any classes, packages, pre-paid services, workshops, trainings and/or special events.
At Simply Yoga in Belmont, MA we offer an array of unique workshops focused on enhancing your mind, body and spirit. Whether you are overcoming an injury or an athlete seeking additional levels of fitness or a yogi seeking to build upon your skills Simply Yoga can help. Strengthen your core, increase stability and reduce injury for the coming season.
Expect a comprehensive, intelligent and creative 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Program. You'll learn more than how to lead yoga classes, you'll learn how to authentically teach the practice that has changed your life and has inspired you to want to share it with others. Group is limited to 15 trainees in order to incorporate both a training and a mentorship within our 200 hours together.

My 13 year old son along with 6 of his friends are currently enrolled in a class at simply yoga with instructor Herbie and absolutely love it! I never thought a group of athletic boys would be excited to get to yoga class on a Friday afternoon but they are. This intense core/stretching/meditation class has with out a doubt transformed my son's body and it shows on the basketball court. After only 8 weeks I can't believe the difference. Highly recommend this class to anyone who has a child who is interested in athletics and trying to gain some core muscles while learning the proper stretching and

Simply Yoga is a wonderful studio.
It’s large enough to offer a range of classes whether, on any given day, I’d like gentle or athletic, challenge or ease,
And it’s small enough that it feels like a community. Each class is thoughtfully led by knowledgeable and caring instructors who keep us safe and help us grow our practice.
The instructors ( and students) create an atmosphere that is welcoming, encouraging and joyful.
It’s a magical place where we always walk out of a class feeling more refreshed, flexible, strong and renewed.

I've been going to Simply Yoga since it opened and it's had a huge impact on my life. I'm so happy to be back to yoga after a many year break. The teachers are amazing and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. There are classes for all abilities and each teacher offers modifications to modulate the intensity so the class is right for your practice.
The flow and heated classes are a great workout and the restorative/gentle classes offer a nice chance to be kind to your body and spirit.
I'd give it 10 stars if I could. A very welcome yoga home in Belmont.

This studio has my heart. It is hands down the best yoga studio in the suburban Boston area. The energy is electric. The daily line up offers classes for all levels and areas of interest (yin, slow flow, all levels flow, power, heated, restorative, and the list goes on...). The teachers are amazing (AMAZING!!), and the community is engaged, diverse, and so supportive. Do yourself a favor and try a class at Simply Yoga, you won't want to leave!

Simply Yoga is a great new addition to Cushing Square and Belmont. I have been doing yoga for 20+ years in the Boston area, and have been to many of the area yoga studios. I especially like this studio for the diversity of classes and workshops that are offered. Also, the studio is very clean and comfortable and has mats and props for use. No longer do I need to trek to Brookline or Newton or Cambridge for a great yoga class.

I'm a big fan of simply yoga!! The teachers are very passionate, positive attitude and knowledgeable about yoga. I can tell my body shape is changing a lot since I started yoga and lost 8Ib in two months. I have also become more positive person. Yoga really does change your life.
