Tree turned out to be a huge disappointment. Our unit is cute, maintenance is great, and we love the neighborhood, but those are truly the only positive things I have left to say.
Our car has been towed multiple times (totaling almost $1,000 in fees), broken into multiple times, and now STOLEN from the garage.
It’s been days since I’ve contacted management about this, and I’ve hardly received any acknowledgement or concern. And sadly, that’s how every poor experience we’ve had here has gone (e.g. stolen packages, unkind and unprofessional leasing agents, noisy neighbors, a broken treadmill

Updating again because now my car has been STOLEN from this apartment complex. I tried posting on the community wall to update other tenants about this, and management rejected my post because they don't want people to know how unsafe this place is. We then received a vague email stating the following:
"Please note that our residential gate in the parking garage is an access gate to manage the flow of residents entering the parking garage; they are not security gates and do not ensure safety."
If that makes you feel safe, then by all means live here.

The Tree team worked with me to accommodate a reasonable renewal lease after an original disagreement we had. They were fair in listening to my concerns, and ultimately helped to come to a mutually beneficial arrangement for both parties. If you find yourself in the market for an apartment with a good location and staff, it would be wise to consider Tree as a future home.

The location is really what drew me in, but after 2 years of noisy neighbors, insane rent increases, and numerous thefts I can confidently say this is the worst place I’ve EVER lived. My car was broken into 5 times while living here and, though I never kept anything of value in my vehicle jackers managed to take my stereo out. There’s no cameras in the garage and it’s very easy for nasty people to make their way into the building. The old office staff was attentive and I feel like the new management is just in it for the new leases. They don’t care. Take your $1,200+ per month rent budget

Predatorial. Parked car in visitor parking, tried to use their website to register car. Site was not working. They towed my car anyways. Plenty of parking, wide open lot, not there more than 4 hours. They obviously only care about money. Do not recommend. Be aware of their "deposit" scam, because they will overcharge you when you move out.

Moving here was a really, really bad idea. Save yourself the money, headache, and time. Go sign a lease elsewhere. I'm stuck here until my lease is up, but I look forward to the day I won't have to pay these folks any more of my money. I should've given the bad reviews of this place way more weight than I did, but I try to see the good over the bad. I now know that there are certain areas of the building that are decent. That's the bulk of the positive reviews you'll see. But most of these units aren't worth what you'll pay for them. I really tried to find the

I lived at Tree for 14 months from 2019-2020 and I loved it. The unit I was in overlooked a neighborhood which made it feel really homey. The bar beneath Tree did get really noisy at night, which I could see being a real issue if your unit was near it, but I didn't have any issues with that.
My favorite thing about Tree was that it felt incredibly fresh and clean, as if it were a brand new unit. We didn't have to clean much upon move-in, and all the appliances looked like they'd never been touched. The windows are so big, so the natural lighting was perfect.
Staff were very responsive when I

We just wanted to extend our gratitude to the staff and maintenance at the Tree apartments. During our 2 year tenure at tree, the staff has been nothing short of amazing. They are prompt on answering questions and concerns and maintenance is always helpful and responsive. If you’re looking for a great place to stay near downtown look no further the tree apartments.

I love my apartment but don't expect to have guests visit you. They require reservations every 24 hrs and will tow you if you are ten minutes past. I've now had 3 friends and family towed. The parking rules are worse than parking center of downtown. Very disappointing to live somewhere with higher rent that is considered luxury and to have such ridiculous rules.

I have been living at Tree for just over a year now. The dog park is great. The pool is beautiful. The gym is decent. The maintenance staff is really helpful and kind. During the corona virus pandemic the staff have made the right decisions to keeps residents and staff safe. I'd say the only issues I have ever had are with the Oak Sports Bar and Grill flaunting COVID19 restrictions, which isn't necessarily Tree's fault. Overall a great experience.

After leaving my college apartment on East Riverside I was excited to move to Tree. I wanted to feel safe in my community. During my time at Tree I have realized there is a lack of security and after numerous complaints from residents the leasing office has done nothing to fix it. The walls are fairly thin, as I can hear everything that happens with my surrounding neighbors. The only positive experience I have had has been with the maintenance team, who is always willing to help and make the community a better place. With that said, Tree has the potential to be a great complex with nice amenities

I've lived here for 2 years and I have to say the staff is where it's at. Robert the building engineer has helped me countless times and always goes above and beyond. He even helped with some automobile issues I ran into (this isn't even his job)! Britt in the leasing office is also very helpful and demonstrates customer service, but ensuring problems are tackled in a timely manner. The interiors could use a bit of a renovation, but the community environment has kept me here for 2 years. I am moving to be closer to a walkable location, but if you are looking at Tree -- you won&apos

Service elevator has been down for 2 weeks. Otherwise Amenities and maintenance are great. Front desk staff needs significant customer service training. They don't send out emails with important announcements and they are very bothered when you go down to pick up packages. They don't sign for packages.

Y'all, Tree apartments has been such an incredible place for me to call home! Living at Tree is like living at a full-time resort. I'm from out of state and was really nervous moving in not knowing what it would be like, and my expectations were blown out of the water. Everyone who works there from the maintenance staff to the team in the leasing center is beyond nice! They're more than that though. They are empathetic and kind-hearted and really show that they care about you and the community in more ways than one. You always hear those horror stories about how terrible leasing

Just wanted to drop a quick review about the maintenance crew here. They have been super quick to fix anything we needed done here. Literally they came to replace something as small as a lightbulb for us in the past and today they unclogged the tub and replaced our ceiling fan. They even gave us a courtesy call a day in advance. Typically these are things you would fee you need to do on your own, but they make us feel like living should be easy here and they don't mind taking care of it at all. Thanks Tree!

Tree has great front desk staff and fast maintenance. I was really satisfied with that as I had been warned it was hard to come by in Austin. The thing that knocked it down from a 5 was that you are nickle-and-dimed when you move out! As someone who lives with
someone who has OCD- our place was VERY clean. We still paid hundreds of dollars for very minor damage (warn carpet). The management company (Greystar) did communicate with us and follow proper legal protocol when we questioned the charges. It seems silly to give someone a positive review for following the law but I hear some landlord horror

This place is absolute garbage. Front desk doesn't know what the hell they're doing and management is clueless. Would not suggest this place to my worst enemy. Update:it's been over three months and these idiots cannot seem to figures out how to get there scamming finance department to pay me back 300 dollars. I mean hell, these people barley even attempt to call me back. It's truly sad how unprofessional they are here. Needs a completely new staff. The staff there is as good as a pile of rocks, they are literally a bunch of idiots.

I've lived at the complex for 2 years now and plan on re-signing for a 3rd.
I absolutely love my apartment, the amenities and the staff. The maintenance staff is exceptional and any issues that every came up with, they took care of almost immediately.
As far as the amenities go, my top 3:
1. The gym here is amazing and it was the biggest selling point for me. It's two stories and they have a lot of functional equipment that I use to train.
2. There are several gas grills on the property, which is super convenient.
3. Both the pool and the back courtyard and really nice and relaxing

First, 5 good things about this building:
1. Maintenance team is great. Rob is awesome.
2. The pool is pretty nice: lots of room, palm trees, outdoor kitchen with jumbo grills and cabanas, not too crowded during the week. The second courtyard has a charcoal grill and a bocce ball court, which is an unusual amenity.
3. The parking garage is roomy and the parking spaces are very wide. Plus, there's plenty of free guest parking (street, garage, and leasing area). There were a few car robberies, though, so make sure to lock your vehicle!
4. Good variety of spacious floorplans. Some have big

Not impressed with welcoming colorful "club house" with nice amenities, with the most obnoxious ambiance perfume ever. We'll need more than a coffee machine with free coffee!
POOL: Not impressed with pool enclosed by nothing but buildings and neighbor's windows with constant shade... haven't seen the sunlight at this pool just yet.
KITCHEN: Granite Counter tops. Modern Whirlpool appliances. Cheap Cabinets with good looks. Modern Light Fixtures, but still dark. Dark shades on windows and poor lighting at apartments.
FLOOR: Imitation wood. Carpet (typical)
BEWARE of the apartments with a view

The property is amazing, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the pool area is always clean. The track policy is terrible, the hallways are always dirty, security at night is an issue, and the rent is pretty steep for what you get.
The "dog park" is a big plus, but needs a little love a trash can and bag dispenser would go a long way)
All in all a predatory great place to live

Amenities are really great, to avoid the parking garage hassle spend the extra $40/mo otherwise there are no spots after 7 pm on the first 3 floors. The pool is one of the best in S Austin and there are a lot of people that go on the weekends.
The only thing I wish they had was trash receptacles near the doors and/or stairs for people to throw trash away instead of in the parking ramps.
Great staff and maintenance requests are easy.

I have no idea who these people are that are bashing Tree - I'm guessing young college students and grads, definitely not ex-New Yorkers who have had the pleasure of true slumlord living.
The people and facilities at Tree are wonderful. The staff is amazing and so helpful. The community is friendly and welcoming. It's like living at the W Hotel, with free parking. Tree was once a really enjoyable place to live. Not anymore.
The leasing office has switched staff a couple times since the building first opened. The original staff was great and felt genuinely caring. Now they *appear* sympathetic, caring, but they will do absolutely nothing at all to help you.
Management picks and chooses who is required to follow the rules. Have an issue with a neighbor? They'll suggest you sort it out on your own. If that doesn't work, they'll suggest you try x, y, and z. When those don't work, they'll just blame you rather than actually attempt
