I just recently moved out of the vista ridge apartments after nearly 3 years. I was renting a 1bd on the third floor of the 800 building and i really enjoyed my time there. The staff was always very generous and friendly, the property is beautifully landscaped and they are constantly making improvements. If you have dogs (as i do) you will enjoy the walking trails around the complex and the bark park is convenient. The complex is mostly quiet and i never heard any of my neighbors through the walls. My room was fairly large and closets (inside and outside) are huge! ample storage! Thank you Vista

Tried looking a 1 bed 1 bath unit here, and surprised how sloppy the complex is. It's just nice and attractive to look from the outside. But once you walk inside the area, you'll be discouraged to try renting their apartments, we ended up renting on northwind for the area is more organized compared to vista ridge.

Look, I’ve lived here for a solid 3 months and this place has been solid so far. Everything is beautiful and well taken cafe of... property-wise, BUT WHY ARE THE SPEED BUMPS SO HUGE????????????? I FEEL LIKE IM GONNA TAKE LIFT OFF GOING 5 MPH???
I drive a sedan and I’ve bottomed out a few times and it’s forced me to just park outside the property and walk home ....
Other than that, solid place def gonna sign again.

I've lived in these apartments for almost three years and honestly it's the most like home I've felt in the five years I've lived in Reno. I'm so thankful I found this place. It's a quiet community where I've never not felt safe. The office staff are so incredibly sweet, and our maintenance guy Luis treats us like family. I will go out of my way to stop and say hello to him because he's one of the most hard working, genuine and kind people I've ever known. I've had opportunities to move out and I would always rather stay here where I feel like family

I have been living at vista ridge for 3 years now and have been so happy with my decision to stay. The girls at the office are always very helpful and sweet and maintenance is always on top of it, anytime I have an issue I have never had to wait longer than a day for the work order to be completed and fixed. I also really love that the owner makes a point to always improve the complex. Since living here they have improved various parts of the complex including parking, aesthetics, etc. Landscape is always beautifully maintained and I love how dog friendly it is! There is a decent sized dog play

Worst apartment complex ever! Office staff uninformed and contradict each other. Will paint one accent wall red, if you want your color you can paint yourself but must paint back at move out. They'd supply paint. At move out said bring container, did on Sat. Said could p/u Mon. On Mon said don't supply paint gave color Kelly Moore $45. $400. deposit, $400 pet deposit if. $200 not refundable.$100. Keep for carpet cleaning weather you clean or not, $100. Keep for deep professional cleaning but you must have clean self. $200. Refundable if they don't pick apart. WARNING! At move in

I just moved out of Vista Ridge after a year and I have only wonderful things to say about the place and staff. I really enjoyed the area and the facilities. Luis was always so attentive and eager to help if we had any troubles in the apartment. After only a few months there we got new washer and dryer. The pool in the summer is great and the location is amazing, everything is so close! The monthly price that we used to pay was much more affordable than the apartments in the area and the staff was always so wonderful and professional. I will really miss this place, I highly recommend it to anyone

Very incompetent maintenance staff. Our apartment was scheduled to received new windows which is fine, we moved all our furniture and put our dogs away for the day for the workers and went to work. After having left I realized I left my key on the table, so I called and asked politely to not have my apartment locked after the windows were done as I had forgotten my key and needed to be able to get back into the apartment. Additionally, I left a message and had my fiancé call them just to be double sure they wouldn't lock the apartment. When my fiancé called they confirmed that the apartment

Neighbors are selfish jerks.
I had an upstairs neighbor who stayed up til at least 3am every night. I lost my job because I was only getting two hours of sleep a night. I ask the management to address the issue and one of the management girls complained about me asking her to do her job.
These upstairs neighbors would slam their dresser drawers at 2am waking me up. Every Tuesday night they would have a part on their deck, preventing me from sleeping. Sound travels at night. They had a subwoofer in their bedroom playing video games until 5am, preventing REM sleep. No concept someone under them needed

This was a great place to live up until it came time for me to get my security deposit back. They were rude, not helpful in the slightest, and I had to go to Reno to get my check in the end. I now live in Sacramento. Just a forewarning for anyone looking to live here in the future, they are TERRIBLE when it comes to getting your money back after moving out, even when you are the PERFECT tenant.

Nice staff, but the apartments aren't well maintained and the lease isn't clear in what you're signing to so plan on losing money I. The deposit. The carpets were terribly put in in my apartment. They were lifting a few months into living there just in areas where doors were opening and closing which lead to my dog messing with them more (I understand that's my fault). I paid upfront a $200 non refundable pet deposit, a $200 refundable pet deposit and a $150 refundable apartment deposit. All adding up to $550 in deposits. They charged me for $487 in carpet repairs and tried to say that I owed

I have lived at Vista Ridge Apartments for the past two years with my roommate, and we both love it! Our apartment is perfect for the two of us! It's very spacious and has a beautiful view of the mountains nearby. It's also close to UNR and even closer to all the stores on McCarran. I noticed some of the other reviews had difficulty with the staff, but I have never had a problem. Gabby at the front desk is very sweet and Luis in maintenance helps us out all the time. I definitely recommend checking out Vista Ridge if you are apartment hunting!

My Office Manager has lived here for seven (7) years! Lived in 3 different apartments, a 1 bedroom then a 2 bedroom now back in a 1 bedroom.She is very pleased here! The office staff is wonderful!! The maintenance staff is wonderful as well...the prices are reasonable....Apartment living is different, but if your going to do it....Vista Ridge is the place to be!!! Oh...and one more thing...the owner's are very nice as well!!
