Sweet little French cafe in the bustling Lake View area. The food was so French and tasty. I ordered the L'italienne salad and it was so tasty. It came with a yummy burrata and fresh prosciutto. My boyfriend got the crossing sandwich and it was so flavorful. A lovely ambiance overall. Plenty of street parking out front too!

Such a cute French cafe/bakery! With locations in both Lake View and Lincoln Park, you truly feel like you're walking into a Paris cafe the moment you step inside. I tried the chocolate almond croissant, and some macaroons and they were delicious. While I was ordering I scoped out the rest of the bakery and it had so many beautiful baked goods!

Great pastries and great vibes! I've been back two times for the apple danish alone after having first tried it. And the almond croissant is also great with ample almond filling.
The decor and vibes for eating in are great too with plenty of wicker and plants, seems a bit like an island vacation! Very pretty! Come for a delicious pastry and an insta pic :)

Ok, I only eat croissants at 2 other places in the USA. And after eating these, I will have to say it pushed one of the top 2 out.
While in Chicago, I stopped in for a croissant and coffee. The croissant was AMAZING. So buttery and flakey. I went back 3 more times during my week long visit. I had the plain croissants, a ham & cheese croissant, almond croissants, and a baguette. I will say that the plain and almond croissants were fantastic. I have never been a fan of almond, but my mom wanted one and shared a bit - they taste almost like plain, but with almonds baked on top, but WAIT

This time I'm writing a new review about the quiche Lorraine I just had from their newest location at 2564 N. Clark in Lincoln Park. It tastes completely different, and it may be because of the butter they use. I remember talking to one of the previous owners about the quiche and he told me they import the butter, that's why it tastes different. This particular slice tasted kind of bland, there's really no flavor to it. Maybe they use regular butter or some kind of replacement?? It always irritates me when people take over a successful business and start to cut corners....and

I enjoyed this place for several reasons. It has delicious and authentic food. The croissant and the sandwich I tried were very authentic taste-wise. And let me tell you that is not easy to get a good and authentic croissant. Sometimes the croissants are too dry or too soft or doesn't have enough flakiness or even too buttery. Additionally, customer service was great. The Person at the register took my order, made suggestions and was pretty quick. The place itself is very clean and inviting although there is not a lot of space. So if you want to feel like you are having a breakfast

My husband picked up from there so I can't personally say much about the ambiance. I also can't speak to anything other then the tuna on baguette that I had. My sandwich was ok- the tuna was a good consistency and tasted just fine, no very strong flavor, the lettuce was crisp, and the baguette was very, very good. It was a relatively large sandwich, but worth the price...um, probably not. My husband said his quiche was just alright and that his pastry was equally just alright. He did learn that their other location offered a pastry he has been yearning for since having them in France

French music greets you upon entering the café and emerges you to a feeling like you are in Paris. Everything in the café is decorated tastefully and every small detail is thought out. I got two chocolate almond croissants, chai latte and by sheer luck a free vanilla macaroon. It was a pleasant surprise when I was offered one. It was still fresh despite being made a day before and, most importantly, not too sweet. So good! Croissants were dry but it was expected given that I visited the store around 4pm. So if you want freshly baked ones, gotta get there earlier!

My friend and I came to check this place out on a Sunday for lunch. We ordered the croque monsieur, quiche Lorraine, French onion soup, and a latte. Everything was mediocre at best. The croque monsieur only had ham on half it's sandwich, the quiche tasted bland, and the French onion soup treated nothing more than can beef broth with some onion in it. The soup wasn't even dressed with melted cheese on top that you typically expect. We didn't couldn't even take more than one sip of the soup.
Honestly, I have made better of all the three items we ordered myself, and I'm
