In Pilsen's colorful neighborhood, Kristoffer's Cafe and Bakery has become a staple. Our cafe is a family-owned and operated business that seeks to satisfy and exceed expectations of every sweet tooth and savory enthusiast. As long-time residents of Chicago, we know the importance of family, a warm atmosphere, and amazing food!

Kristoffer's Cafe and Bakery celebrated sixteen years of being a part of Chicago's community this past October. My wife and I became owners of the cafe 6 years ago, after my wife worked alongside the founders for a few years. We are parents to four wonderful daughters that definitely keep us busy!

SAME DAY PICKUP: only to 6" cakes and 9" cakes, but customer must call in advance to verify availability. ORDER IN ADVANCE, NEXT DAY PICK-UP: applies to all cake sizes, but customers must please place their order before 1:00pm for next day pick up. Vanilla frosting available for: Tres Leches vanilla and chocolate cake flavors (NO CHARGE).

Me and my family are addicted to the tres leches cake from here! I was never really a tres leches person but this is the only spot I fell in love with. Although its a drive from there to the north-side it’s definitely worth it! Thank you for your kind service as well.

One word- wow! A family owned cafe delivering some of the best food I’ve eaten in the city and now know what Rick Bayless was raving about. Martha makes the best cakes as we got their coconut Tres Leches for my birthday. Tamales and burritos are fresh and next time I’m getting their breakfast. So many yummy pastries and desserts! I just can’t wait to go back cause I’m now obsessed!!

I love this place. At first I came here because it was close to my office but their bakery items are amazing and coffee is really good. They always provide exceptional customer service. It's really a local gem. Thank you!

Purchased a 3 leches vanilla for a birthday here. It did not disappoint. Staff is very friendly too. Definitely agree that this is a hidden little gem 👍

I tried the 'Caramel Tres Leches' cake at a gathering. It was so tasty, I drove 15 miles to get another cake! The local is small & not appealing on the outside but it's welcoming on the inside & staff was super friendly.
The 'Coconut Tres Leches' was good as well.

Finally visited Kristoffer's and I'm mad at myself for not going sooner! A neighborhood staple with excellent breakfast sandwiches and, more importantly, the best tres leches slices! Definitely a morning favorite.

What a great place! Came in to get all the flavors of Tres Leches for my friend's birthday and she's in Heaven! She just keeps saying "oh my God" after every bite. Can't wait to visit again and try other menu items! Staff was extremely kind and personable. Would be a great place to meet friends for coffee or study if I lived in the city. Luckily I work downtown and can visit often!
