Our wedding team will work closely with you to select the perfect combination of flavors, fillings, and exquisite design to suit your unique wedding vision. In addition to (or in lieu of) a wedding cake, we offer an array of mini desserts, American and French, to create a delectable sweet table. Have a question? You should hear back within 48 hours. Please allow 3-5 business days' notice for basic cakes and 5-7 business days' notice for complex cakes (3D, cut-outs, tiered, etc). After submitting, you should hear back from us within 48 hours! If you are interested in carrying Alliance Bakery products in your restaurant, catering company or cafe, we provide 7 days-a-week delivery to wholesale accounts all over the greater Chicago area.
We do our best to accommodate as many cakes as possible. We require custom cake orders to be placed 5-7 business days from when you will need pick-up or delivery. For last minute orders, please visit our Signature Cakes page and call 773-278-0366 for our daily selection or speak to a manager for assistance.
Our macarons are bright little bites with assorted flavors drawn from the seasons. These treats are naturally gluten-free and are perfect for satisfying any sweets craving. Chef Peter Rios learned from the best in France-at Ferrandi, Le Notre, and Valhrona-and now expertly crafts macarons with creamy ganache or confit fillings, and a perfectly light crunch.
From the Classic Chocolate cupcake to a Salted Caramel Ganache cupcake, we're sure you'll rediscover how satisfying this American classic can be. For events that call for more than a standard cupcake we can create amazing designs upon request. Birthdays - Corporate logos - Bachelorette. I was frantically looking for a place that would bake a custom cake in a 48 hour period. Not many places accommodate the procrastinating vegan boyfriend who didn't plan very well for his anniversary, by Alliance bakery did! It was the most rich chocolate cake I've ever had in my 1+ years being vegan and i haven't stopped thinking about the place since!

Ordered the Anne, a banana cupcake and a cappuccino and every single one of the items was extremely good. The cupcake is filled with chocolate, and topped with cream cheese. It’s not too sweet and you can taste all the flavors. 10/10
And the Anne cake it’s beyond words, really. Best bakery I’ve tried in Chicago. And the coffee is excellent too!!!

We used Alliance Bakery for our wedding and can’t recommend them enough! We worked with Celina at our tasting to not only to sample the flavors but also create the design and size of our cake for 150 people, which turned out beautifully and so delicious (we went with 3 layers of chocolate, vanilla and chocolate iced with buttercream in each of our 3 tiers). She tied the look of the cake to our wedding decor so well!
Then, Peter helped us coordinate the day-of delivery and also worked with our florist to top the cake. 10/10 would eat here again and recommend them for big events! :)

Not sure if baker changed, or if they're going cheap on the ingredients, but something is wrong here. Quality of ingredients and cakes have gotten so low, that one can taste it. At best, I'd compare them to Jewel cakes, not even Whole Foods. As cake lovers who have been going to Alliance for all of our cake needs over 10 years, I have to admit, they've gone from quality gourmet cake to the most generic cakes. Cakes continue to be beautiful, but now they're becoming more sweet, with poor texture and higher prices. That's very disappointing to see, considering they used to be our favorite.

My friend adopted a dog last year and decided to throw him a “gotcha day/bday party recently…I asked Alliance to make custom cookies with the dog’s face on them for her.. I sent them a picture, and voila! They turned out amazing, and my friend LOVED them. Alliance was super responsive and easy to work with on it. I want to commission all sorts of cookies now!

My husband picked up a variety of chocolate cupcakes for my birthday. Cute cupcakes! Came with little chocolate swirls, in a nice box for transport. They were a little dry, so I don’t think they were super fresh. But I would probably go back for some sort of specialty cake because the presentation seems very nice.

This review is lonnngggggggg overdue. Alliance Bakery is an enchanting spot that happens to be placed right here in Chicago. I stumbled upon this place in early March 2021 while searching for a custom Among US cake for my daughter and they did not disappoint. The cake was beyond my expectations and more. The flavor was absolutely delicious and everyone wanted more!!! The cake blew everyone away and my daughter loved her cake sooooooooo much. We had the most amazing experience and it was all due to the cake, because it brought it all together. I will definitely order from Alliance Bakery again for

Oh my gosh SUCH a cute place. the girl at the counter was super nice and helped us find some goodies we would like. there is some serious talent here! the sugar cookies all had insane frosting designs.
im honestly not a sweets fan at all, so i didnt get anything but my s/o said the chocolate croissant was super yummy.
we got macaroons as well, which i have never tried. so, i asked what was recommended. she recommended blue berry, so thats what i got! i also had the coconut lime.
i gotta say, these are my new favorite desserts!! i wasnt sure what to expect, but they were the tastiest little things
