Our long-term care residence has a Five-Star Quality Rating by Medicare. We offer state-of-the-art individualized care that recognizes and honors the elderly in a beautiful way. From our humble beginning as the Eaton County Poor Farm in 1866 to the Eaton County Medical Care Facility, and to our new identity as Eaton County Health and Rehabilitation Services, our commitment to the people we serve in this community has remained the same.
Designed to promote wellness and recovery, The Healing & Recovery Center serves as a stepping stone in the transition between a hospital stay and returning to home. The Healing & Recovery Center is focused on giving each resident the opportunity to achieve balance throughout the recovery process. Our approach to recovery emphasizes Health, Wellness, Prevention, and Education.
Lymphedema occurs most commonly after surgery, radiation therapy, or chemotherapy for the treatment of cancer and afflicts approximately one percent of the U.S. population (2.5 million Americans), its seriousness is seldom understood in the medical community.

Our certified Lymphedema specialists use a program known as Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), sometimes referred to as Complex Decongestive Therapy and is the recognized standard of care for most patients affected by Lymphedema.

Have yet been able to take Aunt out for a ride just to get Ice Cream. They tell me once she leaves the grounds she will be in quarantine for 12 days.

One of the worst experiences ever! Our elderly mom was there during Covid 19. Rehabilitation discharge coordinator called us when she first got there and never identified the patient and started discussing another patient with us. They never knew what was going on with our mom. Every time they did call, we had to ask who they were calling about as they NEVER identified the patient! I would never put an elderly person there!

While no place or no person is perfect-the staff try their best to lovingly care for all the residents-respecting each individual's likes and dislikes. It is their desire to love and serve the residents and also stay in all guidelines mandated over them.

These people are so wonderful! My grandmother felt safe in this place and it felt like everyone really cared. She was there on a few occasions, the second time because they had put her in another place amd she demanded to be brought back here. Thank you to everyone working there... You made a difference during a hard time in my grandmothers life.
