Bee Green Recycling & Supply is a hive of activity helping you succeed. If you need to recycle construction debris, green waste, inert debris (such as concrete, dirt, asphalt shingles), or if you need landscape materials to beautify a home or project, we are here to help you succeed. We have 3 locations near the Oakland Coliseum to meet each of those needs.
Oakland's largest construction and demolition recycling operation, and THE ONLY green waste recycling facility in the city. Keeping our cities and homes clean and green since 2009. View a list of the types of green waste, inert, and debris materials we do (and do not) accept, as well as the charges for each.
We help contractors and homeowners process Construction & Demolition (C&D) debris, Green Waste materials, and Inert Debris for the purpose of diverting recyclable material from the waste stream and keeping the East Bay Area clean and green. Bee Green Recycling & Supply, LLC is the largest Oakland dump facility permitted by the State of California (CalRecycle) to process Construction & Demolition (C&D) Debris within the City!
We are permitted (SWIS#01-AA-0302) as a Large Volume Transfer Station to receive and process non-hazardous Construction & Demolition (C&D) debris, and green waste materials. Upon entering the facility proceed to the weigh scale to begin the transaction process. Our licensed Deputy Weighmaster who operates the scale house will ask a series of questions to help properly identify the incoming materials.

Bee Green's debris box service includes utilization of the innovative Starlight software system. Doing so makes us more efficient and helps meet the needs of our Non-Exclusive Franchise Hauling Agreement with the City of Oakland.

I love this place. I'm a backyard gardener and have bought soil, compost, fertilizer and nursery pots from here. Great customer service and excellent prices. You can get fox farms here for 50% off what other garden centers sell it for. Amazing. I always tell people to order from here whether in bulk or small purchases. I drive out from walnut creek because it's sooo worth it!

As much as I would love to love this place, I get irritated every time I have to come here. I'm a landscape professional and on the weekends I do personal projects for neighbors/myself. I dread coming here. I typically go to Zanker or Lyngso for professional projects, and I never knew what a BAD landscape supply company looked like until I came here. I only think it is still in business because it has no nearby competition. It is completely inefficient, they have no communication, and their employees are sometimes downright rude. For example, I went to get 1/2 ton of cobble. I paid for it

I love Bee Green and really want to give them a five-star review. I have made many trips to their facility to pick up compost and mulch and have been pleased with the pricing, selection, and overall ease of doing business with them. I also recently placed a bulk delivery order for mulch and had a great experience. I received a text on the day of the delivery that let me know exactly when the delivery would arrive and it literally arrived at my house to the minute. The driver put on his mask while helping me unload, which I greatly appreciated.

I have had probably 6 deliveries from Bee Green for soil and mulch, and have picked up soil twice with my truck. All for my residence, raised bed gardening and yearly general mulching. I have also purchased irrigation supplies and fertilizers and amendments. The staff is always super helpful and the products top notch. Our vegetables love their $85 cubic yard organic mix, was called organic garden mix but may have changed names. Delivery people are awesome!

After seeing quite a few employees at Bee Green working around customers inside without masks, it's clear that this business is not trustworthy. If they can't be trusted to keep people safe from the virus... a matter of life and death... then how can we trust them to be honest in their business dealings? I tried to contact Bee Green about the Covid problem and received no response at all.

Found Bee Green when looking to rock the space between a sidewalk and the curb. Great selection, great prices and if you find an employee who isn't super knowledgable they are quick to find you someone else who is.
Heads up on the guys who dump the rocking the back of your truck; one guy had a crappy attitude and we saw him damage the truck before ours by partially dumping the load on the side of the truck bed (he mis-judged placement) and was entirely unapologetic. The second time we got a load, we had a really nice man who knew what he was doing.

I have liked buying from this place in the past but I just wanted to comment that very few staff are wearing masks. One employee who was supposed to be helping me put things in my car walked right up to me without a mask on and then briefly pulled up a neck gator then brought it down again. Staff were walking around inside with no face coverings and the cashiers who were not behind a barrier frequently pulled down their masks. The employees also did not enforce mask wearing to several customers. Proceed with caution.

Ordered 15 yds of playground chips to be delivered because they were significantly cheaper (like 20% less) than my more local suppliers. 15 yds was about the max they could fit in their truck, and they made it fit into my driveway that was only 6" wider than the truck. Was delivered in about 2 business days, much better than HD was offering. I would definitely order from them again.

Bee Green exceeded all my expectations. I went to the store to look at some gravel samples and the associate took his time to explain the differences of the various gravel options and the pros and cons of using each for my project. I called the next day to place my order and the delivery got scheduled for the very next day. Fast forward and 30 min before the 2 hour delivery window started, I received a text that the truck was on its way and would be here in 30 min. The delivery guy called when he was outside less than 30 min later and delivered the gravel. It's amazing that businesses like

BeeGreen was a joy to work with when I ordered some screened soil (dirt) for foundation/retaining wall work. I ordered 6 cubic yards of dirt online on Sunday, got a call on Monday, and they delivered the dirt on Tuesday. This is much better than HD if you are need dirt quick
The rep on the phone was courteous and was able to provided me a delivery time that worked for me. They also provided some guidance on how to prepare for the delivery and I ended up getting some tarps for the dirt. I also received an email confirmation of the delivery time right after the call.

I can't recommend them enough. The prices are good and I comp shopped a lot. I drew a terrible diagram for dimensions and used their site calculator so I had a general idea of how much it would cost. When I went in, they checked my math for me and calculated again to save me some money. They also made it so there would be as few truck loads as possible to save me even more. Victor delivered our supplies on time and double checked our address before coming. He was so friendly and our neighbor's son was so happy when Victor left with a couple beeps of his horn and a wave. 1. I wrote in advance to ask about some items I needed and protocol around them. Literally the owner wrote back AND called w/in half-hour or less. I'm not a landscaping pro, and I'm not going to bring them tons of dollars. But they treated me like I will. A+.

I can't say enough great things about Beegreen. They're the most helpful in the business I have ever dealt with. I am not a professional landscaper, but I am what you might call a professional DIY'r. I shopped with suppliers all around the Bay Area to feel them out. Nobody at Clark's wouldn't even acknowledge I was there, Lyngso didn't seem that interested in answering questions and those I asked were met with a bit of a condescending attitude. This is the second time I've ordered from them. I am extremely impressed by their website with the ability to see and order materials online, and it being exactly what I've ordered.
I ordered my supplies via online on a Saturday, and they promptly called me Monday to confirm a drop-off time that worked for me.

I also Just discovered Bee Green and they are AWESOME! They have wonderful landscaping material and their customer service is fantastic. I've done business here quite a few times and it warrants a review. The staff is very polite and professional. Everyone there has a good understanding of the products they sell and offer easy to understand advise. I'm a seasonal patron for the firewood. They always help me neatly stack it in my truck bed. This time I spent a little more money on the oak wood and it came pre wrapped so it save alot of time loading it. Forklift and go.
