The Shallowford

If I could less than 1 I would this place is crawling with roaches and the office did nothing but make excuses they charge an arm and a leg for critters to be crawling around and do nothing to treat the buildings to help with the problem. It took almost two months for pest control to come out when I requested before i moved inMy apartment was filthy upon move in and several things are broken they also did not disclose water and sewer were separate and charged an activation fee of $75 to open the account for water. After contract they told us water bill would be tacked on. For one bedroom it was $74- way to high for two people. Cars are broken into and stolen. Police called for domestic diputes and people have large pit bulls in sod which are not suppose to. Its very high for low grade appliances and countertops. Check Elise where!!!!

Do not ever rent from this property. Front office people are rude. Neighbors are so loud and let their children run and scream all over the complex. The “perks” are not actually perks. Residents have to pay for car wash, there are no free restaurants/trucks that come to the property as advertised. I informed the front office more than once that there was broken glass in the courtyard and dog park and it was never once addressed or cleaned up so I know it is still dangerous for your pets and children. The finishings in the apartments are extremely cheap to the point things were falling apart

I love this place. Very happy here. High rent is mostly worth it. Only complaint is kids in the middle of everything all the time and how loud pool area is at all hours.

Moving to a new state and trying to find an apartment that meet your needs is always a hassle but this time that was not the case. kudos to Mirabella, the leasing manager @ The Shallowford for making it all easy.
She was very patient, responsive, considers all the minute details/needs, ensures there is a backup during her unavailability and the best part of all is that she constantly follows up to ensure that all the requests are met.
On the other hand, apartments are very spacious, and the ceilings are nice and high. Great amenities and awesome staff are just few of the reasons. I would recommend

I was in search of a clean, luxury, and reasonably priced apartment in Chattanooga and I shortly came across The Shallowford. The location is great and very close to the Hamilton Place Mall. Mirabella the leasing manager gave me a tour around the property and was very kind, enthusiastic, and helpful and answered all the questions I had with ease. The apartments are large and have an awesome modern day apartment appearance and finish. The reasonable prices, great amenities, and awesome staff are only a few of the reasons I would highly recommend the Shallowford for anyone who is looking for a gorgeous

I am a resident and have been for 3 months. My AC was broke upon move in (keep in mind I moved in around July), our unit had roaches in it upon move in, our electric bill is outrageous due to the broke ac. We have had so many Maintenance maintenance requests put in and they have been out to “fix” the same problem 3 times now. These are just a few examples of what we have had to deal with.

I’m am so impressed with how the staff and residents can together after the destruction of the tornado this year and put this place back together. It’s going to be better than ever. ❤️

Beautiful property! Conveniently located to mall, restaurants, hospitals. Very friendly staff to help you with all your needs. Five stars!

Office staff never available. Today (1/4/2020) for instance the hours are listed from 10am to 530 pm shown below.
Office staff left multiple residents outside the office with a "out on property sign" and return time of 4:30pm placed on the door.
Here it is nearly 5:30 and no one has returned
I left my office early to pick up some much-needed packages ended up sitting outside the office for nearly for nearly an hour from 4:45 until "close" waiting for someone to return so that I may pick up packages.
This is not the first time this has happened as communication from this office is piss poor

(Updated 9/1/20) We moved into a 2 BD 2 BA @ The Shallowford in January and love the layout and square footage. The added den/office space is perfect and having two master bedrooms is great privacy for when guests visit. The garden tubs are great for bath time for myself and step son. It is quiet complex and has friendly neighbors, but a lot of them walk around late at night (after 10pm) with their kids and becomes an issue when driving through the complex. The carpeting is pretty old and stained and the dryer is rusted and has eaten some pillow cases and a shirt if mine. The pool is in good shape

The Team at The Shallowford were very professional & help to ease the craziness of moving! My home was very clean and had been well maintained. The Maintenance team is great too; I like the fact they finish any of my request quickly. I would definitely recommend these apartments!

I am giving a 4 star rating only because I have only lived here a few months. I came in the midst of so much transition for my self and for the staff at Shallowford. They were doing their best it seemed to me to accommodate as best they could as all the computer processes, website, roofs on all building were being replaced, all apartments painted and new upgrades on the ground and to many of the areas on the campus. When I first visited the pool was closed for a short time while they re roofed the building overlooking it. But when I moved in a couple weeks later I got to enjoy the pool. The

It's safe and beautiful place to live especially to Amanda the Manager who was the one who made this place great. She is awesome, friendly and helpful any time with her professional extreme knowledge to be a successful manager. She is… the best !! The staff are great. Friendly loving and always ready to help immediately. Hunter always in a positive attitude created a very good environment. Friendly, caring and very responsible for any task given to her. she has high level of experience

Firsit thing would be REMOVE THE PROPERTY MANAGER. SEEMS SHE DOESN'T CARE OR LISTEN TO THE TENANTS WHO ARE PAYING HER SALARY. ENFORCE POOL RULES FROM MANAGEMENT END, FIX THE LIGHTS AND GATES. MISSING ALOT OF LOUNGE CHAIRS FROM THE POOL. WHERE ARE THE PEOPLE GOING TO SIT ON? NEVER HAD THESE PROBLEMS BEFORE WAYPOINT MAGAGEMENT SERVICE TOOK OVER. VERY POOR PLACE TO LIVE DUE TO LACK OF SECURETY, WALFARE, & MANAGEMENT. LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE.

The apartment is great with large closets which I love. I never hear noisy neighbors and when I pass them they always are nice. I love that I am near(walking distance) the movie theater AMC or regal. Close to stores like Wal-Mart, Dollar tree, big lots, Target, and the Hamilton Mall. Also close to many Restaurants. You are to 15 to 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. The pool is beautiful and it also offers a small dog park.
