Services
Village Veterinary Hospital is an AAHA accredited, full-service animal hospital and welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. We have been providing veterinary services here in CNY since first opening in 1976. Our veterinarians have years of experience treating serious conditions and offering regular pet wellness care.
Many dog owners admire the unique looks and personalities of purebreds, but also worry about the fate of millions of pets euthanized each year. What many people don't realize is that there are specific breed rescue organizations for almost every breed of dog, placing dogs in need to new homes. The Village Vet Family has been wonderful to me ALL 38 years I've been with them.
Wellness Exams: A wellness exam is an overall general health assessment that may include blood tests, urinalysis, and parasite screening. Our Wellness exams are recommended for most pets annually. Puppies and kittens may require a couple wellness exams to monitor their growth and health while we get their recommended vaccinations complete.
In your search for a veterinary facility, we believe you should expect high quality care as well as great service. Our goal has been to assemble a veterinary health care team committed to providing exceptional client service and veterinary health care. Our commitment to you is to continue to offer our world class service and a state of the art veterinary facility.
From routine appointments to emergency situations or surgeries, the CareCredit card gives pet owners the peace of mind needed to care for pets big and small. Unlike traditional pet financing or veterinary payment plans, the CareCredit credit card gives you the flexibility to use your card again and again for your pet's procedures.

I cannot say enough amazing things to describe the Doctors and staff of this vet. My family has had pets our entire lives. They are our family, our children. We have lived in this area our entire lives. We've used other vets. This vet is simply amazing. Every Doctor is beyond knowledgeable, kind, loving and so caring. They are about keeping your pet healthy and happy without breaking the bank. Extremely reasonable in price. It shows when the animals leave the vet and they remain calm and happy. Thank you to the entire staff for making us all feel at ease and at home.

If I could give Village Veterinary 6 stars, I would.
When we were looking for a new vet for our blind cat after moving, we asked for recommendations and perused Google looking for any spots that came highly regarded. After all, who wants to take their furry pal to a 2nd rate spot? After talking to some locals and seeing some reviews, it was clear that Village Veterinary was our spot. This was confirmed when we saw how many thank you cards, plaques, and other mementos they had hanging up from current and former "patients".
Our cat is NOT a fan of the vet due to his blindness, so

We first took our beloved dog there for a second opinion after a very negative experience with another vet. Several friends, also dog owners and a breeder, recommended this office.
We didn't know who we were going to see as it was set up as an emergency appointment. We were so delighted to meet Dr. Hopper. Immediately, I felt overwhelming confidence. Our dog had suffered a long seizure. I watched her get down on the floor and check the 12 cranial nerves on our dog. She followed that with a complete general examination. Wow; I was impressed.
She ordered appropriate follow-up. When she had

As you can tell from my photo I am a standard poodle. What you can't tell is that I am fussy, prissy girl (yes to many people that is what a poodle is). Nevertheless, my two dads take me to Village Vet Hospital, we have to go a long way in the box with wheels (translation car) and it makes me anxious and my brother (he is a standard poodle too) is no help. I arrive all verklempt (oh did a tell you poodles are really german in origin - you probably thought we were French) - but the nice two-footers (translation - people) at VVH calm me right down and make me feel relaxed.
