Very happy that Lynda is in Bellhaven getting the attention, help & care that she needs. Lynda's decision making is horrendous. When she was home the aides we had could not take care of all the needs that she had. She was becoming a danger to herself, me & the aides. It was no longer possible to safely take care of her at home.

Our professionally certified, licensed team of therapists, in conjunction with the residents' physician, will design a customized program and provide therapy based on each resident's unique needs.The programs and therapies are designed to enhance mobility, flexibility, and communication skills. Our services are aimed at restoring the ability to carry out everyday activities such as bathing, eating and dressing.

Our experienced staff of Physical Therapists work with each resident to improve strength and restore function through the use of therapeutic exercises.
The focus of our Long Term Care program is on helping our residents maximize their potential while providing skilled nursing care in a warm, friendly, and home like environment. Our professional nursing staff is on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Nurses are professionally trained in geriatrics and long term care.
At Bellhaven Center, we know that for individuals suffering from Alzheimer's, Dementia and other cognitive disorders, life has so much to offer. Our secure unit for the memory impaired provides maximum comfort without compromising the safety and security of our residents. Our unique care program consists of an activities schedule specifically designed for our memory impaired residents.

The experience was a good one. To be tested as you arrive and only granted access after a negative test is a great comfort. Exchanging my mask for a KN 95 upon entrance further suggests care for the patients, staff and guests. Nurse was thorough and professional. Speech therapist explained dietary concerns and the progress made so far. Very happy with care my dear friend is receiving at your facility.

Bellhaven is great place with a wonderful staff. My grandma is currently staying there and she seems to love it even though she has no idea where she is and still thinks its the year 1929. The whole staff is very friendly especially the woman at the front desk. Today I brought my grandma a hand traced Turkey I drew and colored on my own and the woman at the desk complimented my artwork. I froze and told her my kid drew it but that was a lie, it was me I don’t even have kids. Please don’t show this to her, she can never know.

I was impressed with the appearance and pleasant surroundings of the place.
The room my mother is in I found pleasant in appearance and the sunny window view.
Personal are very kind and professional.
Most of all, my mother is so content!!!!
She loves the food and the selection.
So far so good at Bellhaven nursing facility..

Visiting my mother in law was very easy. We arrived and received a COVID test. 15 minutes later we were able to enter the building. I’m hoping visitation will so be more than only two visitors per week. I think screening for COVID is a necessary step in keeping our loved ones safe. I know it would be difficult but I wish staff was tested the same way visitors must be

The care my mother in law is receiving at Bellhaven is very good and now that my wife and myself can see her room, take her outside and speak to the staff in person is a wonderful thing. Visiting her now is a joy and your staff has been helpful and attentive to her and us during this horrible past year of limited time with her. She is clean, her room is orderly and clean , so Loretta and I have no issues with her care up to this point. Thank you for giving us peace of mind .

While visiting family in New York my mother injured herself when she fell and hit her head on the concrete sidewalk. She was taken to Brook Haven hospital where they performed a craniectomy to relieve the pressure in her brain, subsequently she also suffered two minor strokes.
We chose Bellhaven after we looked at least 5 other centers & we are so thankful we did. They gave my mother wonderful care & made sure she went to PT, OT & speech 6 days a week.
All of the residents appeared to be well cared for & reasonably content.

Just returned from a visit with a dear friend at Bellhaven Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing . I have to say I was impressed at the entrance with its Crystal Chandeliers. The warm reception giving to us by the person at the admissions desk. Looking further in the facility on the way to my friends room I say a maintenance man doing the… floors. The room where my friend stayed seemed to be suite clean. We then went to the day room to continue visiting with her. There too , the room was clean and well kept. My friend Lynda Wall said the rehab she was receiving had really been helping her

My dad passed away recently. I cannot say enough about the tremendous care he received during his week-long stay at Bellhaven. After being hospitalized for a week, we were informed by the hospital that he needed to move to a nursing/rehab facility. My mother, sister and I ran around looking at 5 facilities - 3 of which we all agreed we would never let our father be admitted to. Fortunately we visited Bellhaven. Upon entering the facility it looked more like a hotel than a nursing home. Lovely furniture and wallpaper; nice floors. The patient rooms also looked more like hotel rooms than the typical

My mom was in there for 17 days for rehab after a fall. All I can say is from arrival to departure EVERYONE was wonderful. Extremely professional, caring and loving. Meghan, our social worker made us feel like family. The recreational activities were great, thank you Cristina. I can't remember all of her nursing staff and her rehab… therapists, but all of you made my mom extremely comfortable (Matt, Christine, Eric, I'm sorry for forgetting the rest of all of the dedicated staff). I was so relieving to be able to go to work knowing she was in good hands. I would recommend Bellhaven Center

So very happy my mom is in Bellhaven. Since I could no longer take care of her they have taken over for me and they are doing a wonderful job of keeping her clean .. Happy and healthy. They are an extension of… the care I gave her for 16 years and and I have no complaints. The staff is amazing and know how to do their jobs professionally but with love and care. Thank you Bellhaven from the bottom of my heart.
