I have been leaving here for three years. I used to like the place, but now I am having mixed feelings about Fountain Park Apartments. Overall, the cost benefit is fine. Here is my list of pros and cons:
CONS
- I got robbed twice in a week this year. First an Amazon package and then my bike, that was locked in a bike rack at the parking lot. I reported the missing package to the management and they did not even circulate an email about the issue.
- Huge spikes in power bill on the winter.
- My unit was super dirty when I first moved in. Management sent someone to clean, but he did not do a

This is a great spot to dumpster dive: lots of rich asians. But, I'm not impressed with how you let my girlfriends apartment flood from the people upstairs with no compensation at all. Fortunately, I was there to help her out protecting her property. She also had neighbors that were in some kind of domestic dispute. Could really improve on that. To be fair they did not attempt to steal my girlfriends deposit upon moveout, actually someone from the office showed up to do the moveout inspection themselves. That alone saved so many stars. That's pretty admirable for a landlord in Bloomington to do

I want to lead with saying the leasing team is super nice and responsive and so is the maintenance team.
If saving money is your primary goal this place isn't the worst, but expect some extra effort on your part to deal with things breaking, water use being limited to fix apartment wide issues, and the hassle of the laundry services. You may be able to find better housing with less issues for the same cost.
The issues I have are due to the age of the units and laundry services. My apartment has had mice issues the past few months no matter what I do. I'm almost positive this is due to the poor

I have really enjoyed my time at Fountain Park! It is a great location, the apartments are clean, and the parking is really convenient - especially considering the rent. Utilities can be high, but from what I understand this varies from unit to unit. A huge plus is the maintenance and management team - they're all very attentive and typically quick to answer emails (shoutout to Casey in the leasing office!)

Service went down significantly in my second year with management change. Poor communication between office and tenants starting January 2018. Attempts to improve laundry and dumpsters were half-baked at best. Rent kept increasing with no discernible improvement to actual apartments. Electricity bills extremely high. Very bad insect and rodent infestation. Avoid.

It used to be a good place, until the management has changed. The new management is extremely rude and unfriendly. I never heard No from the management about any maintenance request until this year. If you plan to stay for a long time, I will advise you to not choose Fountain Park. When I moved in three years ago, the rent was 690. Now, the rent is 805.

As we approach the end of the month and being here now 2 full months i truly say to they who are serious about apartment hunting about a real feeling of home i truly HIGHLY recommend fountain park .the management the residents are superb.. Went shopping today.our down stairs neighbor assisted me in bringing up my groceries. That is the type of people i love living with as well around..so if your looking for a family atmosphere then come to fountain park . where the word family means just that FAMILY...
