Landings

This place used to be a family friendly complex that catered toward young professionals and young families. It is now housing for college students. Ever since new management came about two years ago, the place has gotten trashier (literal trash left outside doors, on walkways), louder, and dirtier. Units are not cleaned well between tenants, and they will try to charge you unjustified cleaning costs upon move out. The bedrooms are tiny and the finishes are cheap (floor tiles peeling up). Additionally, I had horrible problems with bugs (ants) so much so that I couldn’t keep my pets food on the

Staff is great! The walls are thin, and just about everyone in Bldg. 5 owns a pet dog. When the animals are left alone, they will sometimes bark all day. If you work from home suggest taking this fact into consideration.

The only problem is if you move here you won’t want to move anywhere else. It’s beautiful, picturesque, riverfront property offers a serene oasis right next to the fun downtown.
I love it here, and so do my dogs.

For my first apartment, I can say that I couldn't have picked a better/safer place to live! I love my view from my balcony of the river and the location is PERFECT! I couldn't have gotten any luckier with the wonderful and caring staff and even the tenants! Definitely recommend!

Love living here! Great location for everyone especially college students who don’t want to live on campus because the commute is short! It’s very convenient to be so close to downtown for different activities. Maintenance is very quick to make any repairs. They have several amenities to offer and I would recommend this place to anyone!!

Really great place to live!
Pros: FANTASTIC location — close to downtown and right on the Greenway; the staff is incredibly nice and responsive; great amenities (pool, gym, in-unit washer/dryer, ice maker, Nest thermostat); pretty thick walls, so no issues with hearing neighbors (on either side or above); very easy transfer process when we decided to move to a different unit.
Cons: Tenants are pretty bad at helping to maintain the grills, so I would definitely recommend that the office consider doing regular maintenance; would be nice to have the option of putting screens in windows.

The maintenance staff has been outstanding. I have placed three work orders, and they have been to my unit within the hour each time. We also love how easy of a walk it is to both downtown and UT football games.
My only complaint is the narrow parking spots. I drive a truck and have had issues with locating a spot that my truck can fit into. Other than that, we have enjoyed our time and highly recommend this apartment complex.

Showers are really weak with no water pressure. Was forced to buy a new shower head because the one that I had was spraying on the wall and they replaced it with a energy efficient one that inst very powerful. Front office staff is very nice though.

I just want to say thank you so much to the ladies at The landings. It really means a lot. We had a family member pass away and they got us flowers and a card, so very thoughtful and nice.

I've lived at the Landings since 2011. Can't beat the location! I love living on the river, having direct access to the trail, and being within walking distance of downtown. I genuinely enjoy living here. Emily, Olivia, and the rest of the staff are fantastic.

Love the surroundings at this place it is gorgeous. Best manager ever I'm sure.

Me and my husband just moved here from Indiana last Friday, I rented the apartment online just from seeing pictures, needless to say I was pleasantly surprised when when we opened the door to our place. It was beautiful the ceilings were unbelievably high the wood floors are so pretty and it’s beyond spacious,and it’s so dog friendly and all the people are so nice here. I LOVE IT oh and I almost forgot the location of this apartment is awesome and the view is beautiful

I loveeee living at the landings! This will be my second year. The staff is great and super helpful! The location is incredible. It's convenient to downtown market square and also great for walking to football games in Neyland Stadium on game days!! Pet friendly as well!

Phenomenal office staff! Always willing to help! Great community in downtown Knoxville with amazing views of the Tennessee River!
