Julianna’s is a locally owned small restaurant that has been in Kalamazoo for decades with some of the the friendliest owners and servers in town! The prices are very reasonable and the breakfast and lunch choices are consistently good. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because two of my friends had the homemade corned beef hash and both said there was not enough corned beef in the potatoes. The restaurant closes at 2pm so we usually are there for breakfast. I had the 8 oz sirloin and eggs this time and it was very good.
Have gone to Julianna’s twice in January 2022. Love their cat head biscuits

Julianna’s is the hometown cafe in Kalamazoo. This place goes out of their way to make sure your food is exactly the way you want it, I know this because I am the pickiest eater and I been coming here for almost 10 years and have never had a bad meal! The girls go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant dinning experience! The same goes for take out or delivery it is always perfect and on point! I will always go back to Julianna’s for breakfast, I don’t go anywhere else! I know your names girls but my head injury is drawing a blank but they are truly amazing!

Service was extremely quick. i chose a booth, seating myself to see the weather outside, facing the corner of the restaurant. My waitress was very on top of things and I was extremely pleased with the fact that she was quite literally as easily summoned as a turn of my head to look behind me toward the rest of the building. The food was ordered and no more than maybe 5-7 minutes later was already being served. The place was not nearly at capacity but by no means was it empty either. However the price was a bit costly; i did see if i was a senior my meal would have been discounted to less than half

My husband and I came to Kalamazoo for a wedding. Needed breakfast before heading home. We are very concerned about Covid 19 and called ahead to ask about their safety procedures. The answer was enough to give us confidence to dine in. (There is no outside seating)
We wore masks in and they had held a booth for us, which was very sweet on a Sunday morning. Julianna's is a typical American diner. The menu is nice. I had the Mexican Breakfast Quesadilla. It was very good and could easily have fed two people. My husband got the Meat Lovers Potato Casserole. He said it was good. It also was a sizeable

Clean orderly place with good service and coffee. Corned beef hash was pretty bad - waitress said it didn't have much corned beef in it and she was right. What wasn't said was the extreme levels of salt and barely cooked potatoes. Rye bread for toast of the most mild foem of rye. No reason to go out of the way to come here.
