I love it here! I couldn't ask for better management! Maintenence responds immediately and everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Grounds are kept up and hallways are kept clean.. I just moved into a new apartment and plan to make it my last move ever. So glad I chose Olde English Village for my home!!!

We have lived here for 2 years and the office staff and maintenance are very responsive to our needs. They make it very easy to be a tenant here. Our actual apartment unit is very nice on the inside. The hallways leading to the apartment are dark and usually smelly. The hallway carpets badly need cleaning or replacing. It is a good price for the area but I wish they would upgrade the common areas.

I am about to sign my 11th Lease with Olde English Village (yes, I've lived here for 10 going on 11 years) and couldn't be more excited about it! The staff has always been very friendly and helpful whenever I've needed to call the office about an issue and the maintenance is timely and professional. I have never had to wait more than a day to have anything fixed once I reported the issue. I highly recommend living at Olde English Village. :)

Good location. But they have horrible communication as to letting the tenants know what is going on in the complex. Like main breaks and not warning everyone they were turning off water for a whole day!

The walls and floor are as thin as paper doesn't matter how big or small or how quiet or loud your neighbor is you'll always be able to hear them. The staff i've met are unprofessional and try their hardest to get the most amount of my money out of me

I've lived here four years and really enjoy it! Maintenance requests are fast, haven't really dealt with noisy neighbors, safe neighborhood for the most part. The gym is small and the apartments are a little dated but the rent is affordable.

I would give this a zero if I could. Nothing is accessible, the dumpsters are so so far away so if you have any heavy trash *even in the snow* have fun hauling that(unless you are lucky enough to be in one of the buildings That’s actually by it.). There’s no where accessible to put your animals droppings so have fun carrying that around until you FINALLY get to the metal bucket they have strapped to a stick. Maintenance is useless, it only took them 3 times to fix my faucet which should have been replaced in the first place (the water pressure was low due to the grime built up in the faucet

Pretty inexpensive for West Des Moines and in a pretty good location. At the time of this review they are residing the buildings and putting new carpet in the hallways and it looks really nice. My only complaint is that there is only 1 washer/dryer for each building (6 units) and it's gone up from $1.50 to wash and dry (each) to $1.75 to wash and $1.50 to dry. They dryer also does not always dry your clothes fully.
