Bennett Grand Woods Apartments

Parking is terrible, Unlit and unmonitored. My daughter and boyfriend have both have their vehicles ravaged at night, in the last 6 months. Their neighbor has also been a victim of a break in. Management declines responsibility or a solution. I hope they can rectify this problem.

Decided not to move and couldn’t even get a partial refund on the 350 I payd I guess shuffling paper work is worth 350$

I just moved in a couple months ago and the apartments here are very nice and spacious, and affordable!! Everything works well, and when something isn’t working quite right Thomas and Lonnie with maintenance get right on it! Both are very experienced and professional. Kristi Greene was amazing to work with on the move in too!! Made the process super easy and was super nice and polite about everything. Gym and pool on site as well! Would def recommend.

I lived at Bennett Grand Woods for almost 4 years, and moved out about 9 months ago. I lived in one of the 1813 buildings.
Cons:
-Incredibly thin walls. I was woken up several times by kids playing at a normal volume when my bed was next to their apartment. Also heard every word of plenty of arguments.
-The timing given for inspections was often less than the 24 hours listed in the lease. I worked 12 hour days quite often so this was an issue for me. I would come home at 8 pm and find out there could be someone there at 8 am the next day.
-The washing machines flooded constantly into the downstairs

Kristi was super friendly, showed my boyfriend and I such a beautiful apartment that fit our budget and what we needed. I also loved that they have an office cat named Lily.

Customer service is terrible. Office hours are rarely honored as stated on websites and posting. Office staff is rude. Called the office this morning because my water was off and we received no notification or anything. I then call the office for clarification as to why my water is off. I speak with a woman named Katie and explain that my water is… off. She goes on to say there is an emergency and the water is off. I ask her how long it will be off. And she replies in a very rude and condescending tone and says “As. I. just.Stated....”and begins to repeat herself. Imagine waking

Yesterday, I got a tour from Kristi and was pleasantly surprised by her service and lack of domineer. Kristi showed us an apartment from a recently moved resident and I was astonished by it's condition and price. The apartment had two equally large bed rooms, a lovely bathroom and best of all a washer and dryer! There were no signs of insects, parking problems or bad management counteracting any previous reviews. From my experience the neighbors are usually non-domestic and relatively mute. This is the perfect place to go for a low-rise apartment!

My wife and I absolutely love this apartment complex. It’s our first palace since we moved to Iowa 3 years ago. We will be moving this year but only because our family is getting larger and we have outgrown the space but we stay if we could fit. Great neighborhood and community and that’s thanks to management Katie and Lonnie. You’ve been good to us all. I definitely recommend anyone to live here.

Katie and Lonnie are the greatest. Whenever i need something done in my apartment or at the complex Katie always goes above and beyond. She’s personable, genuine and sincere. It’s hard to find property managers who are understanding and really want to help. Their turn around time for fixing problems is the best I’ve had from any other place I’ve lived. They are always friendly and never too busy for their residents. I strongly recommend Bennett grand woods as a great place to make live.

I have lived here for two years and am sad to move out. My apartment is beautiful and spacious. Katie is an amazing office manager and maintenance completes all maintenance requests within hours and sometimes minutes. The pool area is always taken care of and the pool itself is always perfectly treated. The gym is very nice and available 24 hours. I highly recommend renting here.

Bennett Grand Woods Apartments is a nice and safe community along with FUN and FRIENDLY staff who go above and beyond for their tenants! It really feels like "HOME"🤗😊😎😉😘😍❤️

Katie is a terrific manager who takes the time to listen to tenant concerns and work with them. She has always gotten back to me quickly when I have a question or concern. The apartments are quality and appear to be well maintained. I would definitely refer other people to Bennett Grand Apartments!
