Sunrise Oak Apartments

My apartment is currently flooding and the afterhours number is an out of service metro line.
I really wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt.
I filed an insurance claim and will be breaking my lease.

This place is a scam they have you
Put application pay 45 dollars and then they tell you we find something
Im your past we very sorry the true
Is the place is been condemned by the city and they can really rent anything

I lived here for a year, manager was very flexible with me about being a first time renter,
Not the best of neighbors as some of them are very nosey.
Cops constantly bother tenants. Not the managers fault

Construction M-F starting by 8:05am with sledgehammers, power tools, yelling, throwing concrete bricks and breaking glass. Been going on for months now and hardly a dann thing getting done. A complete and utter disregard for the tenants who are still paying full price to live here. I left the apartment in the same condition as I moved in almost 4 years earlier. My balcony was rotting the last two years and 6 months before I moved they were boarded up with plywood. I not only didn’t get any of my $800 deposit back but was charged an additional $360 to replace the linoleum and claimed wall damage. This place is a total dump. It’s literally falling apart. The wood is rotting and they don’t keep up on anything. The interior isn’t any better. The management won’t do anything if you report neighbors behaving disruptive or unsafe. Homeless constantly dig through the dumpsters and there are huge gaps under the doors but they won’t fix or allow pg&e to help fix to lower energy costs. Bills are outrageous because of this. Also would not allow cable come out to fix access so had to run a cord through back bedroom to living room to get tv. As soon as my lease is up I’m moving!

If I could give 0 stars I would. When we moved in the apartment was dirty and it had dead roaches all over the place. We lived there for two years and nine months. During this time a pipe broke in the sealing. The water dripped all over the place damaging the walls, carpet, and ceiling. The walls were diry when we moved in. The refrigerator gasket was all messed up and they never replaced it even though we put in a service order for it. The paint they use on their counter seems to get dirty SUPER easily. I've been here over a year and it seems like nothing gets done. We've had our sink dripping for the last year complained twice and nothing. the back patio is falling part due to our up stairs neighbors, in our closets have holes on the bottom looks like from mice which i asked to get covered, i had to buy the stuff myself to do it and they wouldnt refnd me and now a mouse found dead on sunday morning in our kitchen and the emergency number, good luck reaching anyone also the security they say they have come check out things doesn't secure the apartments anymore and haven't for months now

I guess i have to see a lawyer. as the only other comment on this place, seems like Ellia is nothing but a scam artist. who has ruined my credit. i only lived there for 6 mo. moved out feb 2013. apparently he decided to charge me rent till may and lie and say i did not pay rent. he put me in a molded crumbling apartment, which when my lease was up i had to get out so i did, then has the audacity to charge me to redo his nasty complex.
