We started our vacation rental property management program with only 4 properties, and have grown every year by using sound business tactics, cutting edge technology and developing personal relationships in the communities that we serve.

The dock at our property was advertised as being there to bring a boat, which we did. What the company and property doesn’t mention is that the dock was falling apart and completely unstable. Due to the poor condition, and my husband ended up falling and cracked a rib. The upkeep at this property was laughable. Will not be back.

We stayed at the Grand Landing 209-Grand Landing West. That we found through Lake Michigan Cottages. This location was disgusting, the carpet was dirty and the furniture was worn and torn. The place needs new carpet and furniture and a complete deep cleaning. The bathtubs were filthy. We were supposed to be supplied with basics, like hand soap and dish soap and the containers were all empty. The microwave didn't work at all. The internet did not work for part of our stay. It was $389.79 a night. They did take off $150 for our complaints. I would have picked up and went somewhere else but there

Lagniappe By The Lake was a great place for our family to gather. Lots of room and good amenities. The fenced in backyard was perfect for keeping the little ones. Also, the house is located close to many biking trails and a short drive from several parks and beaches.

I would not recommend going through Lake Michigan Cottages Airbnb. They day we were supposed to arrives the Be Calm House in Holland,, they double booked our house. The only options they gave was to go to a house in North Grand Haven or a refund. We are coming from out of state and all of our family and activities are in Holland. The Grand Haven home is to far from where we needed to be. Now we are staying in two small hotel rooms with our 3 families. This is completely unacceptable. We had this family vacation planned for months and now we are stuck in the hotel we were trying to avoid. I would

For my experience in August of 2019, I thought Lake Michigan Cottages provided clear instructions both before and at the arrival of our stay. They also manage several properties so it offered a variety of options for vacation rentals! The payment process was clear and concise. We have rented a house through Lake Michigan Cottages the past 5 years for a family get together. The online description and photos of the house are accurate and the booking process is easy. Most of the process is done online, but in a few instances where I needed additional information, they have been helpful. One year there was a situation when we checked into the property. We called, and someone was sent out within a few hours to take care of the problem. We couldn't be much happier with the procedure and the property we rent through them.

A great experience. Clean, quaint accommodations. Very responsive staff, we had all the information we needed (trash pick up, wifi). I packed a ton of stuff that I thought we'd need to cook/clean, but there were tons of things to use in the house that were in good condition. Despite being right next to a wooded area, the house was unbelievably clean and bug-free. We felt very relaxed and at home.

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The first year we stayed, an animal had gotten into the garbage from the last renters but within 30 minutes of calling, it was picked up and taken away. We have booked this cottage two years in a row and we really get to relax and have a good time here. It's only a short walk from the beach and close enough to Silver Lake to spend a day at the Dunes. I 100% would book again.

We had an excellent experience! The initial setup of the cottage we rented was smooth sailing. There was a hiccup that I can't recall now, but when I contacted the customer service line, they were very helpful and quick. The cottage we stayed at was very nice with a great location and our time spent there was very memorable. I think about going back all the time and hope to again sometime in the near future!!

There was a sandy beach on the property that the kids could dig in the sand. There was also a fire pit, kayaks, and pool table. Wonderful amenities to make everyone happy! Sign us up!

We booked a vacation through this place on a nice looking place in Holland, MI for 4 days before the kids returned to school about 2 months in advance. After booking, and paying fully in advance for the stay, I noticed (on my own--thanks to Google) that the vacation home we were renting was for sale. I immediately called them back to ask about this (THEY DID NOT DISCLOSE THIS TO ME), and they couldn't have been more dismissive, and nonchalant with this seemingly insignificant set of circumstances.."oh yeah don't worry, that would always be contingent of the sale to honor the vacation

I really wanted to stay at Lake Michigan Cottages, but they sadly discriminate in their rental policy against groups. I was going to rent 'The Treehouse' in Michigan. Hopefully this saves you some time that I wasted trying to do business with this company.

We had an extremely disappointing experience with Lake Michigan Cottages. We rented this cottage because we wanted to take our dog with us. It is listed as dog-friendly. Apparently, that means "not clean."
The cottage at over $200 a night was grimy, dumpy and smelly. The house smelled musty. There were dirty shoes under one of the beds, the bathroom carpets and floors were filthy. The backyard was unkempt and weedy.
