Before you buy a condominium unit, you must consider several things. While a condominium often seems to be an all-inclusive package, it is very important that the unit be checked out as thoroughly as any house. Check the financial status and situation of the complex into which you intend to buy. Check for "special assessments".
Unlike the public water supply, a well is your own private water supply which is owned and maintained by the homeowner. It may, in some instances, be connected to a community well (a well that is shared by a number of houses or a small community). If well treatment equipment is present a double water test is strongly recommended.
Prospective buyers of a single family home often have many questions regarding the septic system serving the dwelling. They may wish to know what the existing septic system consists of, if it's working properly, its predicted longevity or the cost of replacing the system. The information that follows will help answer those questions.
Many houses and apartments built before 1978 have paint that contains lead (called lead-based paint). Lead from paint, chips, and dust can pose serious health hazards if not taken care of properly. LANDLORDS will have to disclose known information on lead-based paint hazards before leases take effect.
Radon is a radioactive gas that has been found in homes all over the United States. It comes from the natural breakdown of uranium in soil, rock and water and gets into the air you breathe. Radon typically moves up through the ground to the air above and into your home through cracks and other holes in the foundation.

Mike Gardocki is a true professional. I never met with him in-person, but sent my dad(who's a contractor) to walk with Mike through the house inspection. My dad is picky and tough to please.

Mike impressed my father and my attorney later mentioned he's never seen such a thorough report from an inspector.

I'd highly recommend Mike to my friends based on my experience.
