Bike Cleveland is a member supported bicycle advocacy organization serving Greater Cleveland. We advocate for safe streets and we make sure that any time the conversation turns to transportation - that people on bikes are being considered. We work to improve policy, infrastructure, and host education and outreach programs to help make our roads places that serve people and communities.

Prior to Bike Cleveland's establishment, bicycle advocacy was a fragmented affair shared among multiple groups. A month later the George Gund Foundation committed money to fund a community based input process to figure out what people wanted, and out of those conversations it was decided there needed to be a single regional voice for bicycle advocacy.
We are the 501(c)(3) advocacy non-profit for people on bikes in the Greater Cleveland area. Representing over 1000 due paying members and more than 32 local businesses, we make sure that any time the conversation turns to transportation - that people on bikes are being considered alongside people in cars.
An alumnus of Spring Arbor University where he earned a degree in sociology with a concentration in community development, Jacob is now a passionate Cleveland transplant. Bike Cleveland's Advocacy Center is the heart of our work. This is where we ask you to take action in support of safe streets. Below you will find tools to identify your legislators, our current action alerts (including how to sign-up to get them in your email), and current public comment periods for projects.
We offer education in several forms to riders and people interested in biking across the Greater Cleveland area. Education can often bridge the gap between participation in the pastime we love, and staying on the sideline out of fear or uncertainty. Below are education resources and the in-person education programs we offer for individuals and groups.
