We have an incredible team who ensure whether you are racing the 'A' bunch in your local criterium, cruising to work, trekking around the country or thrashing your local trails, that every pedal stroke will remind you exactly why you chose Capitol bicycles.
Choosing the right material for your bespoke Capitol frame is important for considerations of cost, weight, performance and longevity. We offer both imported Italian tubing and locally sourced, made right here in the USA, high quality tubing. You choose - we use. CrMo4 steel tubing. This slightly thicker version of zona is perfect for track, fixie, and urban commuter frames.
We really need to know what you look like (no selfies necessary), so that we make your frame to fit just right. The Capitol Body Measurement System is very detailed and specifically designed to give us all the measurements needed to tailor your bespoke frame to fit you like your favorite pair of sneakers (or any other garment you prefer to choose).

I can't say enough great words about Capitol Bicycles. Peter is one of the nicest people that I have ever met. He has a passion and knowledge for cycling that I have ever seen before. He made the entire He created me the most beautiful bike that I have ever seen with so many personal touches! I told him I wanted something fast as well and this bike hasn't disappointed.

Peter Mitchell and his lovely wife delivered this beauty to me back in July while I was visiting family in Lexington. First impressions were very positive, but I wanted to have some miles on it before posting a review.
After many years of road cycling this is my first foray into the MTB world, and this machine has made the experience a pleasure. My son is just starting to ride trails and wanted me to get an MTB so we can ride them together. So far, I've been loving the experience, and on my solo rides I've been venturing onto trails I wouldn't have dared to tackle only a short time ago. Accelerations
