My air conditioning dud not work for 2 months this summer. The management provided portable air conditioners which only cooled off the livingroom. The other bedrooms were sticky and hot. The a.c units were also provided several other apartments. As such, our com ed electric bill doubled and they won't give us any discounts on rent or reduce our utilities. Now the heat is on and the hallway last night was at 100 degrees. Since the old manager, Dan left, it's really crappy service

Out dated, poorly and not to building code renovations, bad a/c leaks everywhere heat not much better.
The poor thing is, it is in a fabulous upper class neighborhood, ElkGroove amenities, really great well funded schools, close to shopping, food, entertainment as well as a full Hospital just blocks away.
But do the the conditions, non responsive management, and extra fees it's really more hassle then home. Look further, there are better deals in the area.

Full-disclosure, I haven't personally rented with with Cypress Place but I tried to today and my experience was less than ideal. I made an appointment at the top of the week to see one of their units. The lady on the phone made it seem like the only time I could do this was Friday at 4 pm and even then I wouldn't be looking at the unit I wanted. Which was fine, I'll take what I can get. So we get there and head over to the unit only to find that maintenance had turned the lock upside down making it so we couldn't get in. Mistakes are bound to happen but it just feels egregious when I make an appointment

Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here! Management is great, super friendly and helpful. The maintenance team was also friendly and efficient. Plenty of parking. The hallway and foyer of our building was kept clean. I never had any issues with packages getting lost or stolen. The landscaping was always kept up and there are picnic tables and grills available to use. When we first moved in, we could rarely, if ever, hear the upstairs neighbors. My wife and I have lived here for about four years now. Dan in the office is very accommodating with any special maintenance requests. Snow removal is done promptly and the landscaping is well done also. We like the on site property management office and it includes a key card entry to a free workout room. The complex is several blocks away from any major traffic noises. Recent upgrades include a common area BBQ setup with seating and brick pavers. We have a dog and he loves romping in the park right across the street. Check it out.

I have lived at Cypress Place for 3 years and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here! It's a clean, beautiful and safe community in a great location. Everything you need is within a 2 mile radius, also this place is very close to Busse Woods Trail and Elk Grove Vlg High School, where you can walk to the July 4th firework show and other events without parking hassle. Staff is very friendly and always try to get all problems taken care of as soon as possible to make all tenants happy. Maintenance crew are quick to respond as well. I live here at cypress I dont recommend no one to live here the maitence men dont know what there doing at all they come in your apartment when ever they want without notice ..he came in while I was in the shower .. and I asked Dan not to let them come in apartment when I am not home its happened more than once...

My name is jose beltran. I have viewed plenty of places in area. Many had small kitchens , small bedrooms and such higher prices. When I came to visit cypress place I was greeted by Janine . She was so polite. Answered all of our questions . Did not rush me at all viewing the place as well as was not pushy at all compared to other places I viewed in area. Also dan the manager has been very helpful . If I have any issues while living there which I know I won't I know that I could count on Janine and dan. I highly recommend this place to live . I have lived here for over a year and they truly care about the tenants and take care of the property. The apartments are quiet and tucked into a neighborhood and other than occasional planes the outside noise is good. I moved into an updated apartment with brand new appliances in the kitchen and the bathroom and bedroom are large in my floorplan. I have a nice open view from the balcony and do not feel closed in by any buildings next door. I have to say that Dan the property manager is friendly and very easy to work with. Recently, I was in need of moving within a short notice. Dan went out of his way to take pictures of a possible apartment that I could rent before I even got off of work that day. He sent them to me via email. Fantastic! The property is quiet and in a residential area. I am use to having a pool in the complex where I came from. There is no pool here but there is a waterpark within walking distance of the complex. I moved into Cypress Place on 4/7/17 and so far its been pretty great. If given the option I'd definitely choose it again, but if you're planning on spending a lot of time in the city I'd advise against.
Pros:
1. Building maintenance has been amazing. Every time I've called to get something fixed they have been very quick.
2. Very chill tenants, at least I have not argued with any so far.
3. Right next to some parks, restaurants, groceries etc.

1. Noisy parkway. While the other apartments are quiet, everything from airplanes and engine reving to loud music and car alarms

I am moving from an apartment in Ann Arbor, MI do to a transfer as a result of work. I found that Cyprus Place had a great location very close to many recreation areas. I also liked the suburban setting of any major roads or highways. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I am happy with my choice and am pleased with the apartment.

I've been living at cypress place for 3 months now and I can honestly say that I love it. The property manager, Dan is amazing. He really cares about the residents and does all he can to ensure we are comfortable. So, not only are the apartments beautiful and really comfortable to live in the staff is also amazing.
Update on my review:
If you decide to live here make sure you're really careful about the terms of security deposit. They took out about 350 dollars from my roommates and I's security deposit without explaining as to what it is they had to fix. We left messages and emails

We lived here for 2 years and really liked it. It wasn't perfect, of course, as the actual apartment was tiny for 2 people and 2 cats but it was sooo quiet. We had a nice, good-sized balcony facing Salt Creek which was nice.
We didn't have any issues with the management company and needed very few repairs which we appreciated. Plenty of parking as well.
A few cons: the a/c is old and doesn't work the best but it's free (or it was when we were there). Salt Creek does flood on a regular basis but for the most part it doesn't reach the apartment complex. When we were there

Absolutely love living here. Quiet neighbors, amazing staff, quick service when something needs a repair, and just an overall great apartment complex. They even do a resident appreciation month every year in June filled with various activities and a community picnic! I can not say enough good things about having lived here for the past three years.

In my opinion this place is horrible. Do not rent from here unless you enjoy small overprice apartments that have nothing to offer. Lived here for about a year and the staff is horrible. Asked them to replace the rusted out portion of the A/C and Heating unit over and over and they have not. We had mold in our apartment in the air ducts and I'm allergic and have certain health issues that are triggered by the mold which is all dangerous to me and my children. When they replaced the ducts they didnt clean up after themselves or cover any of our stuff like we were told they would do and my son
