All pets require a Pet Approval form submitted for review and approval before you bring a new animal into your apartment. There is an annual per pet fee that tenants will need to pay if the pet is approved. Purchasing renter's insurance is the best way to protect yourself when renting an apartment.

Lived with RentGreat during the pandemic. I tried looking for my review and their Google reviews, but mysteriously they've all disappeared... I see they also changed their business name to literally their URL to probably not be attached to all of the negative reviews.

I had many issues living here near the end of my experience. Many with Jack who seems to not like being "threatened" by a young woman.

I had a ceiling leak and Aisha basically told me this is normal in every place you live...which is completely ridiculous. After my ceiling leaked through my ceiling fan onto the

I lived in a Rentgreat unit for 2 years in Lakeview. Everything was meh until it came time to move out. We were scheduled to move out 10am on the 30th which was odd seeing as in we couldn't move in any earlier than 8am on the 1st 2 years back. My new lease started on the 1st and my moving company (like most moving companies I spoke to) had to come later in the afternoon in order to optimize logistics for overnight storage. I asked for a brief extension to that time to facilitate. I can understand that being an unrealistic ask but we had received a nice covid-19 "we're all in this

If you're looking for a place to rent, I'd definitely recommend you to check with RentGreat.com. I was their tenant for 3 years at a property in Uptown, Chicago, and my experience was great. The unit was amazing, the common areas were always tended and clean, and whenever I had the need of contacting the management, the team was super helpful and supportive. Rentgreat is a very professional and attentive to the needs of their tenants. This was my first apartment and Jack was so patient and helpful. We had a bunch of questions and he had no issue staying on the phone with us and giving us some great advise. I would definitely recommend the company to a friend. I have lived in their apartment for over 2 years now . This is by far the best management company we have had. If you are looking for an apartment, look at the ones Rentgreat has to offer.

I rented a property that rent great managed for one year. Like always I was very timely paying rent and never had any other complaints from management. Early on, my only complaint was when someone broke into my apartment when I was home and rent great did absolutely nothing to further secure the building so it wouldn't happen again. Even after calling me and asking for my suggestions on how to make the building more secure. When it came time to renew my lease I intended to resign with a new set of room mates. Through the process of finding room mates I dealt with Joanna for the most part.

First time Yelp reviewer. Came here to share what a lovely experience I've had renting with Rent Great... prompted by my most recent service request experience. I clogged the kitchen sink, which also backed up the dishwasher. I sent in a request late last night. By the time I got home today, the kitchen sink is fixed and the maintenance personnel also re-ran the dishwasher, leaving clean dishes and a functional sink waiting for me. We have enjoyed RG so much we are re-signing lease. Joanna is kind and responsive... what more could you ask for?

This is my 5th apartment in Chicago and it's by far been the best management company. The apartment is in great condition and maintenance is always prompt. They are always quick to respond to any concerns. We are going to be renewing our lease soon.

This is an update since I'm moving out from my apartment soon.

I asked Joanna, the woman who answers their phone, what people usually do when they move out as far as parking a moving truck. I asked if we could use the driveway which we used when we moved in and she said no, since people rent the spots. She said she did not know how people usually move out. So they are nice when you are a tenant but completely useless when it comes to coordinating a move out.

RentGreat is an absolutely incredible management company. We live in a beautiful 3 bedroom in Buena Park and have absolutely no complaints about management.

When Spaces was giving us a hard time with our application for the apartment, Jack worked with us to come to a completely reasonable agreements hat satisfied us both.

We absolutely love living here. When we first moved in everything was in great condition and probably the best cleaning I've ever seen done by a landlord. Usually I find I have to go back and clean before I feel comfortable unpacking but we just settled right in.

My roommate and I have been tenants of Rentgreat for the past 2 years in Buena Park area and we are unfortunately relocating away from Chicago for work. Otherwise we would have gladly stayed again with RENTGREAT.

This management company and their staff have been wonderful to us and always handled any issues immediately. We often would get email replies about 5 minutes after we sent them and any repairs were handled the next day.

They are truly impressive and I hope we will find a company with as excellent service as they have. I would recommend RENTGREAT to anyone looking for a great apartment

If I could give RentGreat more than a 5-star review, I certainly would.

I have rented from a lot of landlords around Chicago and have never stayed more than one year. Not the case with Jack and RentGreat. My girlfriend and I have lived in our apartment for 3 years and have been absolutely thrilled with not only the apartment itself, but everyone at RentGreat.

When we signed our lease, several renovations were being made to the apartment, so when we first saw it, it was quite a mess due to removed walls and general construction debris. But we were assured that the work would be done professionally

This has been the first apartment I've rented through RentGreat and overall it has been a great experience. Jack is ALWAYS very responsive to my emails and the few times that we needed maintenance they responded quickly. I never felt worried that the management company would take a long time or wouldn't fix something. When we had an issue with our heat they were over the next day. I accidentally broke my key in the lock because the entryway lock was freezing from the cold and they replaced the lock with a digital lock to prevent this issue from happening in the future. Found rentgreat.com online when I was searching for a new apartment. Hadn't heard of them but decided to contact them. As far as renting apartments goes, this was a pretty awesome experience. Ended up in a great apartment that I'm really happy with. I really haven't had any major issues thankfully. Only a couple of small things I thought worthy of bringing to their attention. Response from Jack and his crew was fast and courteous and I felt like these people were really trying to please. Refreshing when compared to some other rental situations I've been in before. I

I have had a couple different property management companies here in Chicago, and I would say that Jack and his maintenance crew are about the nicest around. They are very very responsive and any question or issue I had was addressed right away. For example, one night when I first moved in, we had a break in to our side gate area. The very next morning (I had left a voicemail with the office line) they were installing new gates and security cameras.

I also have to mention how sweet and awesome Andrew and Peter (the maintenance crew) are. They are super hard-working and very thoughtful about everything

I love my apartment. When I moved in a few months ago, my place had been freshly painted and was perfectly clean.

The management company has been superb. I've had so many bad experiences with other apartments that it's refreshing to have such a responsive and flexible landlord. They've addressed any issues I've made, and have gone out of their way to make sure I'm satisfied. Each time, they've followed up with me to ensure the problem was fixed. I recently had an issue with my refrigerator, which was addressed the same day I reported the problem.

I could not be happier with the efficiency and quality of service I have experienced with Rengreat. I currently rent a two bedroom apartment in Wicker Park through rentgreat. My roommate and I moved into our apartment about six months ago, and we often talk about how impressed we are with Rentgreat.
