The leasing office was super easy to work with and they communicated clearly throughout the entire process with myself and my rental client. Ryan was a pleasure to work with and I hope I can bring even more clients their way.

I absolutely loved this building and the location of it. It feels so home-y and my tour guide, Ryan King provided me with such a great tour of the place. He was very well-spoken and made me fall in love with the place. He was open to answering any questions I had and made sure to follow up with me as well after the tour. I really liked all of the "vibes" Ink Block had to offer and highly recommend it for people that want to live in the South End of Boston.

In my second year of living here and just wanted to give serious credit to Steve, who has been fantastic on three separate maintenance calls now. Very nice, extremely responsive, and always helpful.

The staff members at ink block are excellent especially the maintenance team. No matter how small an issue, Steve and team are always at our door within 24 hours eager to fix the problem.

It is obvious that creating an atmosphere of engagement is an important part of their overall brand and resident experience mindset. Steve was an amazing help for us in adjusting our kitchen cabinet shelves!

I put in a maintenance request for one of my kitchen cabinets and Steve quickly fixed the problem and was able to help with a few other things that I didn't even know I needed fixed! Super friendly and helpful, he explained everything as he was doing it. Steve is the best!

We had an issue with our air conditioner and Steve with maintenance was on the job quickly. Fixed our issue in a timely manner and did it with a friendly and professional attitude. Glad to have him around.

Everyone is doing great with Covid, staff was great and responsive before, keeping everything running smoothly. Units just get hot and noisy for the price point.

While Ink Block is marketed as a full-service "doorman" building, it is far from it. More often then not the front desk is empty leaving tenants to rummage through the package room trying to find their latest delivery, IF they even get an email notifying them of its arrival. Forget about food deliveries. With the front desk empty your food either gets left on the floor by the door with with no notification that it's even there or if you're lucky they'll call you to come down and get it yourself. We moved into Ink Block around a year ago and have been so pleased with our time here. We worked with Rebekah from the leasing office to schedule our initial visit and then again to finalize our lease. She was honest, professional, and so welcoming! We had visited 3-4 other apartment complexes around South End and our interaction with her, as well as Ink Block's facilities and location, made the decision incredibly easy for us to commit to Ink Block.

My wife and I have lived here for the past year, and we will absolutely miss Ink Block so much when we leave. The location is incredible. Not having to even go outside to get groceries from Whole Foods (esp. during the dead of winter) was game changing. On top of that, being so close to all that Chinatown/Downtown has to offer as well as the SoWa outdoor market, we always felt like there was something to do within minutes of leaving the apartment. The location is also prime for anyone working/studying at Tufts or BUMC.

The management enjoys saying no. I pay 350 a month for a parking spot and wanted to let my friend park there while we both took my car out for the day. The woman at the desk really got a kick out of telling me it was out of the question. I think it feeds her soul

Generally my experience at ink block has been ok but for the last 6 months a piece of equipment in the gym has not functioned and I have alerted them to this fact via the maintenance portal. Each time I received notification that it was repaired and that has not been the case. I have sent notes 3-4 times and I think one time it worked for about a week. That was the best response Most times it did not work at all

I have offered suggestions on replacements that are better suited but, no response. It sits there unplugged because people get sick of trying to use it to no avail. For the monthly

Change of management and the place is now soooo much better!! Staff rotations seemed to have been fixed which is great! Leasing office is now a lean well oiled machine. They're doing some great events for the residents and overall I have to say its probably amongst the best apartments in Boston.

AMAZING location, super clean, incredible staff / concierge...... I've lived in Boston nearly 20 years now and this by far is my favorite place I have ever lived... living above the largest Whole Foods in in Massachusetts is an extra added plus. This area is booming out of this world... Many amazing restaurants have just opened within Ink block... Bar Mezzana... Fuji... Sweetgreen..... not to mention Turnstyle spin and a brand-new core power yoga over at Siena! Ink Block is super pet friendly if that is important to you as well.

Well so far my apartment hasn't caught fire, so that's a plus!

I've lived here about 9 months now and have no real complaints.

The staff has been amazing! They are incredibly friendly and make time to say Hi and ask you how you are.

They are amazingly pet friendly. There are 2 "dog parks" on property. Yes, these are nothing more than big fenced in areas with gravel, but they are properly maintained and stocked with bags. Here we go again! The last fire was one level above me, and only a few months later we've got another fire a level above that!! Imagine the deja vu I felt when, while traveling, i received the ominous voicemail asking to discuss the "unfortunate event" of the prior night. I've again been displaced with no compensation offered up front. Yes, that's right, two major fires that resulted in major leaks in my ceilings and walls in 8 months time.

We're now officially 30 days after the fire and NOTHING has been done in my apartment. Occasionally I'll get nebulous emails

Disappointed with the experience. My washer and dryer are constantly broken, the air filter wasn't replaced for months inducing terrible allergies, the tile in the bathroom is always dirty no matter how much bleach you use. Location is fantastic and there's a whole foods downstairs, but not worth the constant headaches with leasing and maintenance. Run more like a sub par dormitory rather than a luxury apartment building.
