A brief description of the types of lenses and variety of frames available at Madison Eye Care. Selecting your lenses and frames is a very personal choice. A wide variety of options are available that can be tailored to suit not only your medical needs but also your fashion preferences. Highlight your features, play with color, and augment vision for different functions such as reading, driving and playing sports.
There are a number of reasons why you might prefer contact lenses to standard eyewear: a glasses-free look, hassle-free vision correction, wearing non-prescription sunwear and goggles, or the convenience of not having to worry about misplacing your glasses. If you have a high prescription or astigmatism, contact lenses may provide more enhanced vision correction than glasses.
In addition to assessing your visual acuity, your eye care provider will test for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes are functioning together, and more. Serious health issues like diabetes and high blood pressure are often first detected during an eye exam. The American Optometric Association (AOA) recommends children have their eyes examined at 6 months old, three years old, at the start of school, and every two years until age 18.

I have an appointment here on 11/22. I can't find the location on Google Street view. Is it to the right of the liquor store?

Great place w super friendly staff n extensive selection. Love the smaller cozier feel of this location rather than larger location up the street. Would recommend for all family members for sure as both me and my kids feel comfortable here.

Had a general exam at Madison Eye Care. It was great. The doc was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The exam was quick but through. Also the cost of the frames in the shop were not bad at all. I highly recommend.

Dr. Munther is wonderful. So personable and knowledgeable. And I met with optician for the first time as well to order glasses and she was also great.

It’s been over a year since my last visit and Dr.Munther made me feel like I was just in last week. They don’t treat you like just another appointment. Always very friendly and efficient.

The doctor and staff member were great. Care was great. The only thing I wanted to mention....she dilated my eyes. Which I was worried about since I had to drive myself home. She said it was a mild solution so should be ok. I was fine sitting in the office. But as soon as I went outside my eyes started watering, and my vision was blurred. I drove a little up the street and then had to stop and have someone come and get me because it wasn’t safe for me to continue. It took the rest of the day for my eyes to feel better. Just wanted to mention that. It doesn’t change my opinion of the staff and

This is the first time I visited this location of Madison Eye Care. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Dr. Sarah Munther was very through, friendly, and knowledgeable! I also appreciated the extra cautions taken into place during the pandemic.

Had a terrific first visit to Madison Eye Care in Bay Village. They scheduled me promptly, were very accommodating and seem to have high standards for safety during the pandemic. Dr. Koubek was thorough and concerned with helping me find solutions to my issues. The rest of the staff was great too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Everyone I encountered with was very kind and professional. The optometrist was so knowledgeable and personable. I felt welcomed the second I walked in the door! The specialist helped me find a lens I was confident in wearing as well. Thank you all!
