Dr. Porter obtained his pre-optometry degree at Ohio University in Athens and is a 1995 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. He began his career at the Bloomberg Eye Center, a large ophthalmology/optometry group practice, where he developed a strong interest in evaluation and treatment of ocular disorders.

Pleasant and painless. Went out of their way to give me great glasses. Record time with product and took me right away. Close to home and great prices plus selection. Kudos. Will go for new frames in January. See u soon doc

I was referred to Dr Porter from a friend and I had a great experience. I was getting frustrated using cheaters to read things up close. Dr. Porter took the time to get me the proper contacts and he and his staff were professional and courteous. I would highly recommend Dr Porter and Premier Eye Care.

Thanks Dr Porter for seeing my diabetic son on an emergent bases! You cut into family time on your time off just to see him and it meant the world to me to know his eye sight was Ok and saved me a huge ER copay! So happy to have a caring eye doctor in our community! 💜

Dr. Porter not only helped me with replacing my lenses to my favorite sunglasses, he was thorough and attentive. He also helped my elderly mom with her prescription when most doctors chose not to really listen to her needs.

Took a month to receive pricey glasses..after multiple phone calls. Receptionist is rude & so unprofessional. Wish I would've shopped around! Dr. Porter was thorough & attentive though.

Doctor is very nice and thorough....the receptionist is rude. She tried to bill us almost 600.00 for contacts that I paid 150.00 for elsewhere, then she tried to blame the previous receptionist who hadn't worked there in over a year. We cancelled the order and won't be back.

Very unorganized. Took me 4 months just to get my new contact prescription. I
waited and waited for sample contacts to come in from out of state only to find out that the office manager was let go weeks before. And she was the one handling the orders. There was no follow up to find out if any patients had been affected by her lack of duties (why she was fired in the first place apparently). When I finally was able to order contacts, the new office manager could not take the method of payment I wanted to use (Care Credit) because she had not been trained yet. So I had to wait another couple
