Yes, even if you had to go out of town at the last minute. Yes, even if you get sick. Yes, even if you decide at the last minute that you'd rather stay home to watch Netflix. The only exception is iF THE STUDIO HAS TO CANCEL THE WORKSHOP, in which case the money will be credited to your account or applied to the rescheduled workshop, if you are able to attend.
Yoga Therapy is an approach to health and wellness that considers the whole person, their lifestyle, and environment relative to healing and prevention. This takes into consideration:. Structural Yoga Therapy: Relative to body asymmetry & structure, physiological use and/or mis-use/abuse such as repetitive use or strain, foundational issues that may involve perpetuating factors, functional & structural spinal curvatures, etc.
REIKI is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. It is administered by hovering hands and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

I love Unity. The instructors are very kind and make you feel comfortable. The space is very relaxing and the people who attend the classes are friendly. Unfortunately, I'm in the process of moving to Franklin so I doubt I'll be able to attend much anymore, but anytime I'm in Mt. Juliet I'll stop by! I would highly recommend to anyone considering it.

I've been taking classes at Unity for a handful of years now. There is a wide variety of class types from hot, to restorative, to any other rendition of yoga you might crave. The instructors are all super-nice and welcoming. I love the studio and the community it builds. This so definitely the best studio you will find east of the city!

A decent yoga studio in the eastern suburbs of Nashville, where this are a limited selection of options. We encountered this when we moved from Wisconsin to Middle TN. However the services are somewhat overpriced but generally good quality. After a few years we turned to another source for our yoga.
They offer Hatha, Relaxation and other varieties of yoga practice. Nashville seems focused on hot yoga.
Our automatic payment permission was revoked multiple times, with emails that went unanswered by the owner and then after we revoked the credit card authorization they continued to charge us $80

Enjoy my classes here even though I'm not a hot yoga person - they have other options. Deborah Jackson and Nicole Belsante are my personal favorites! Regarding the previous reviewer: 30 for 30 means 30 USD for unlimited classes for the next 30 days. That is an extremely sweet deal and both clearly explained and common practice among yoga studioes. It does not mean 30 visits - that would break a small business's back. - I have no involvement with the studio except for enjoying classes here occasionally.

My husband and I found Unity Yoga Room when the YMCA closed in Mt. Juliet a few years back. We had tried another yoga room and the "Y" at Donelson, but really wanted something more local.
The very first class that we both took was a restorative class where we each gave a donation. The room was so nice and environment was comfortable so we both decided to make this our new "yoga home." For a while we were both taking Gentle Flow classes through the week. When my schedule changed, I started taking Hot 26 classes. I still take this and mix it up for some variety depending upon my schedule. I also

Nice little studio right off the highway with a good variety of class times, types and instructors. I was a little off put by the website's description as a Christian studio, but I haven't been to a class yet with an overt Christian focus. The only drawback is that there isn't a shower, so if you have someplace to be after class, be prepared to sponge bathe.

A wonderful, welcoming yoga studio for all skill levels... I can't recommend it highly enough! I echo what's been said about trying different instructors and would also suggest trying different classes... like power flow, Hot 26, or hip hop flow if you're interested in a higher-intensity practice, or yin or gentle flow if you're interested in a more restorative practice. Definitely check them out... I'm glad I did!

I started going to Unity this summer. I had never done yoga before. I was hooked after the first class. All of the instructors are very welcoming and friendly. It has become a place that I can go and always have a positive experience. Exercising in public was never my favorite, but with yoga they stress focusing on yourself and not comparing yourself to others. At Unity I always feel comfortable and love the change I have seen in myself both physically and mentally. It is a fun, challenging, and relaxing environment all in one. Try it, you'll love it!
